Scary Computer game!!???!!!

So i was trolling pbnation and i found a site with a link to a game that they said was scary. So i went to it and i didnt think it was scary at all maybe a little freaky. My roommate got freaked out and started screaming like a little baby. I'll let NICO decide for themselves if it is scary or nothttp://www.hotel626.com

Note... Can only be played between 6pm and 6am(Unless you change your computer's clock). And you have to turn your lights off and be in the dark

Oh yea i forgot about that. You can always change the clock on your computer so it will play. But they ask you to turn out the lights. Its supposed to heighten the scary effect

It wasn't scary, perhaps a little creepy. It was really well made, pretty short, maybe ten minutes or so. I really didn't think it was hard at all, and I'm playing on a laptop... They did a good job of immersing you into the game, with the use of the first person perspective, webcam, mic, and even calling you on your own phone during the game [all optional of course]. The immersion part is essential to being scared, I would say. The graphics were very good too, as it was pretty much all video.

I give it a thumbs up. Not scary, but scarier than pretty much any other 'scary' online game I've played. Now if you want a scary game that's still a good -game- , then may I recommend F.E.A.R. ?

F.E.A.R. had none...it was boring and very repetitive. System Shock 2 and clive barker's Undying are still the scariest games I've played. Couple first hours of Bioshock were kind of creepy as well.Oh and can't forget about They Hunger Trilogy for Half-Life.

It's out for PC now too...it's a sci-fi horror shooter where the only way to kill your enemies is to dismember them or blow them into little bits. Pretty f-ing scary I've heard.

+1. I've only played those games twice, but I used to watch friends play and goddamn! They always scared me. Hell, sometimes when I'm really bored but dont want to watch a full movie, I watch the walk thrus on Youtube for Silent Hill and the new zombie game out.

Hands down, Doom 3 with the lights off, late at night with a 2 litre of mt. dew.. the part where you have to go down the hallway and the woman screams and you hear a baby crying made me almost sh*t my pants. I had to press ESC and turn on the lights after that one.

But I agree, they did a great job getting you into the game, and that is a critical part. I thought it was a well put together mini-game and was sorta creepy.

def. the first time i played doom 3 it was 2am lights out headphones on. when it got to the part where the scientist turns into the demon, it scared the monkey piss out of me. after that it wasnt bad. not much really scares me.
