People who say Bioshock is a lot like it have never actually played System Shock 2. Bioshock is a pale pathetic immitation of SS2. Bioshock was intended to be a "spiritual successor" to SS2, but it's missing so much of SS2's depth and awesomeness.

It's a huge shame I couldn't seem to get SS2 to run on XP.

+1

Just a short while into the game when you think you have it pegged, the lights go out, demonic signs start flashing, walls bleeding and strange noises. I was alone in a camper unarmed (because I was in NY) at night in the woods. Computer ----- off.

Why not? I've had it running for years on my WinXP home. If you have a legit copy...read this http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69958

However...if, like me, you didn't buy it (whoops) then there are many fixes available that allow it to run on XP by now.

This may sound weird but GTA IV freaked me out. Just the realism of the city but how it was all virtual made my mind go places... bad places. Its not the game itself... just how it makes you think.

Fallout 3 get a little unsettling when you are deep down in the vaults. The atmosphere and everything is great. Or when your roaming the capital wasteland and a mole rat or a yao gaui comes up behind you without you knowing it. The yao gaui creep me out with their white eyes and everything.

I played the demo of Doom 3... just... crazy.

I have it running on an XP machine currently. It has been a LONG time since I installed it (years) so I don't recall exactly what was involved, though.

I played the Dead Space demo and didn't really like it. It has some interesting concepts, but is lacking in the substance department. Seems like that's become quite the trend lately: basing games around side concepts rather than gameplay "meat."

yea, dead space gets a little annoying after while just because its "hey, go here do this. rinse repeat." still overall, not too bad. still need to beat it.

on a side note. Resident Evil 5 demo on psn now. not scary, but very very nice. alot like 4 only better with coop. makes it so much better. release date buy
