I could never really figure out DDR. Maybe it's because I look funny when I play it. Or maybe because I just think it's boring as hell. But I think it's mostly because I'm white and can't dance...

The funny thing is that only whites and asians are playing it. That and the occasional black skater.

I went to the mall last week, these three people at DDR... covered in sweat... 2 people playing, the other right along side them dancing, I started laughing so hard... then I proceeded to kickass in initial D :D

I remember playing the SH1 demo long long ago, scared the crap out of me

Yea those people get sooooooo sweaty from that game. I remember this comic on Jay Leno said, "Whats the deal with DDR? So you you won huh? Congradulations you're gay!" Or something along those lines. So true though.

One of my bro's friends is like, 6'3" 200-something lbs, and is a freshman in high school. This big freak plays nothing but DDR. It's his life, for crying out loud! And you haven't seen someone sweat at DDR till you see him go at it. He's a savage...

I remember the first time I played Doom. It was really dark, and really late at night. I was on one of the last levels and all these pentagrams started appearing. I actually turned around to see if anybody was behind me. Freaked me out to this day.

LOL! Oh I have seen some really fat people pay that game. Its nasty. They must be funky as hell when they leave.

What do you guys think of the new Doom? Ive only played part of the first Doom when I was in 5th or 6th grade so I dont know too much about the series. Wasnt too scary though.

Man, I used to love Doom. Me and three of my friends had them installed on the computers in school, about two years ago. Then, when the teacher wasn't looking, 2v2 deathmatch! We had so much fun, and of course got caught a few times. They deleted the game, so we just reinstalled it. It was inside a folder like Classwork > History > French > Military > Wins > and then there was Doom! We had to hide it, or else they'd delete it again...

Once we had it hidden inside so many folders, they never found it again. And the cool thing is that our school just got new Dell computers that were half way decent.

One time, when my friends and I were done with a test, we asked our teach if we could use the computers. (to play Doom of course) Bobby (my friend) didn't realize the sound was on, so the whole class turned around when they heard gunshots! Man, it was so great...

We were freshman. But here's the thing: whenever we played Doom, we always had something going on in the background. Like a website, or something. Then, if the teach came, we just pressed ALT+TAB and she wouldn't suspect a thing! And as for the gunshots, Bobby just said it was from a pop-up ad that was advertising S&W. Needless to say, she believed it!

To say the least! Here's another cool thing: when we didn't have History (all 4 of us were in the same class) we would just set up a time to play. I'd be in math, Bobby would be in English, and the other two were office aids. Since the whole school runs one big LAN, we could start a game across campus at any time. :)

For me it's not so much the enemies(zombies, monsters, etc) that scare me. It's when you don't know how to kill the monsters and they keep coming at you in some kind of surrounding where you really get into a panic over. But once you figure it out, it's usually fine. Return to Castle Wolfenstein had a part like this where a skeleton guy was just very difficult to kill. Chronicles of Riddick has a small maze of a dungeon where zombie looking guys keep coming. They were easy to kill, but all you have is a flashlight mounted to a shotgun, the battery had 4 minutes left and there was no clear direction of where you needed to go.
