hey guys, first post

first of all Id like to say this forum is awesome, such a great wealth of information! :dblthumb: Ive never even needed to start my own thread until now. Ive searched and tried lots of things but im not 100% sure what to do

Baiscally Im having trouble wiring my safc 2 in. I have z32 maf and 450 injectors. now, it runs, but wont rev past 2000 rpm. so i figure it is a maf issue.
The safc sensor check shows that my maf is not there. its not reading it, and so my car runs super lean.
settings are set for 4 cyl, arrow up. set to pressure and 2 in, 7 out. is that right?

Ive made some pictures in paint. this is the way i have hooked it up. Is my safc airflow signal wiring correct? could it be a broken maf? and, why is there two wires for the airflow meter? (pin 27 and 37) Im using the green and black.
thank you, sorry for bombardment of questions :chuckle:

I haven't had a MAFS for over 5 years, so I'm a bit rusty with them, but I don't think the yellow/green goes to nothing.

from driftin8ez-
"I just had to read about 5-6 posts to finally get a definite answer to how to re-wire the CA Harness for one of Nissan's big boy MAF's. This guide will work for the N60, N62, RB20/25 Maf's

CA Harness wire Colors --------> N60, N62, RB20/25 Maf

Green/Black ----------> PIN B
Black -----------------> PIN C + D
Black/White -----------> PIN E
Green/Yellow ----------> No Connection

Leave PINs A+F unconnected if there is even a pin or wire coming from it. Some Maf will only be pins B,C,D,E some will be A,B,C,D,E,F but again leave A+F unconnected.

Enjoy!"

I know for a fact sensor type 07 is the ca18det setting (my safc is 07 in and out)

Pink is not afm signal wire on an safc, yellow and white are. one is signal in and the other is signal out, I cant remember which is which though. Also it should be 4 in 7 I believe but maybe your right. Ive had N60 and N62 mafs before and one is 2 in and the other is 4 in but I dont remember 100%
