I hate to be a downer, but you were going too fast for conditions. The speed limit is for ideal weather/visibility (yeah I know we all go over anyways). What was the limit btw? I know when I lived in Cali, some spots were 75+.chrispizzitola wrote:About two minutes away from my exit when i spin out and lose control. "the frame and body are a single unit." soo no frames or body, just unibodyMu wrote:Unibody cars still have frames. They are just a part of the body. The link you posted even said that... "Unibody is a type of vehicle body construction in which the frame and body are a single unit."

I knew it was going to be a quoted response. Anyways, have a good one lol.Throckmorton wrote:Scott,
I will admit that when people ask questions that could be easily answered if they used the Search feature of this forum, or if they refuse to look in the Owner’s Manual to learn to operate all the features of their vehicle, my response reflects their lack of initiative.
That is not the case in this thread.
“If you do not have anything to contribute that helps people in a polite helpful way, I would appreciate if you just wouldn't post at all.”
“Polite, helpful way” You must be kidding. I was not aware that all postings had to be pre-approved by Miss Manners prior to posting. Please point out in my post of 6:32 AM 2/10/2010 any words, phrases or combinations thereof that anyone could construe as ‘non-polite or non-helpful.” I will admit that in previous posts, my tone could have been milder, but not this one.
I always attempt to back up my opinion with a link to an article, publication, or a manual. If I am proven to be incorrect, I will admit that I am wrong.
If Mu, or anyone else, believes that the Nissan Altima has body-on-frame construction,, and is not unibody construction, there is nothing I can say or do to change his mind, even if I am ultra polite and ultra helpful.
Thanks,Throck
