I did know that the Altima is a unibody as are most cars nowadays, it slipped my mind and I guess I wasn't really trying to ask about the "frame", nor was I trying to get at if it will be totaled or not. I was just wondering if any significant pieces were damaged and it wasn't just a broken tail light and rear bumper.

Significant as in suspension components, steering components, if the body folded at all. Anything of that sort. Sorry for my lack of description in my previous post Good luck Chris hope you get the car back soon. But on the sort of bright side, at least you won't be putting so many miles on your car in the near future
