I like both the S15 and Cookie front ends better than my Zenki. Then after awhile it grew on me, then I decided that I liked it. Money can be spent on other things. If it cost $2000, then you can turbo your KA for that.

s14.3 ftw!

Zenki is alright, but definately the "ugliest" if you will, out of the five (pig, chuki, zenki, kouki, s15). I say wait until you've got the engine/suspension done, but what can I say, I have a sohc sil40 lol.

out of the five?

you realize the zenki chuki and kouki are the 3 stages.

pignose is a zenki, technically.

180sx type x's are koukis, also.

but no, when done right, Zenki s14's can definitely be better looking than Koukis. it just tends to look more feminine.

Im gonna have to agree with Tramp here. the Zenki will have a place in my heart . I tend to enjoy the roundness of the Zenki more albeit the kouki looks agressive i love to see the zenkis tastefully done

Absolutely not. It is all a matter of preference, I prefer any s14 front over an s13 front, but that's because it is what I like. However, I'm still interested in seeing something as awesomely dumb as an s14.3.

Whatever, zenki s14 (to be clear) is the least beautiful. Satisfied? If you think they're the best great. They'll be easier to find because not as many people want them. J/K

Whatever OP, why does it matter? There's been a few threads exactly like this in the past. It's all about personal preference. get what you want. Btw, do you even have a 240? I'd start by getting one.

Anyways, I'm done for the night here. Goodnight guys!

You got what you wanted...

But honestly I think zenki's look super clean with some clear head lamps and a nice stance.

I too - will agree with tramp. I was at one time an owner of a 96 240. Granted, when I first got the car, I felt kind of girly with the bubbly headlights that made it resemble a MX-6. After roughly a month, it grew to me - and I began to make it look better just through little and slight exterior modification.

But if I were to vote - keep it zenki . Only reason being is that you own a vehicle, as it sits now, that can never be modeled as anything else BUT a zenki 240SX. Besides. I have too many ricers ask why I did the JDM S15 conversion on my car.

O wait. I have a S14 kouki.

Hmm. By looking at this picture, it would almost seem convincing that an S15 front end looks good.

But there's a secret you're missing here. Just one tiny detail:

That S15 front... is actually on an S15. Right where it belongs. Who would have figured, right?

Kouki is where it's at.

The reason why ih ate the zenki s14 is the same reason why ih ate R33's, they look like freakin altimas, they have that down syndrome look.

Now with that being said, they can still look good if they are done right...also they have the least amount of femininity when they are black. just my .02

i really don't understand the allure of the jdm headlights. they look exactly the same, no one is going to notice that the projector is what 1/2" bigger? and you get to be that a55hole that blinds all the oncoming traffic. someone please enlighten me.

1. They don't look exactly the same. Have you even looked at both of them? I notice the difference right away. 2. I highly doubt you are going to bling oncoming traffic anymore than you would with USA headlights.3. Please tell me that you have personal experience with A. driving with Japanese headlights and B. driving towards somebody that was driving with Japanese headlights. You MUST have, because you present your opinions as facts.

1.yes i have seen both usdm headlights and jdm headlights. sure, side by side comparison, you can see the difference. when anyone else sees them alone, i highly doubt they will notice nor will they garner any extra cool points. 2. why wouldn't you blind oncoming traffic? the beam pattern is directed away from the median. you're driving a car with headlights that now point left, on the right side of the road. who's on the left side of the road from your pov?3. i don't need experience, it's common sense. but as we all know, that just isn't all that common anymore, now is it?
