s14 sunroof delete

So I searched this and couldn't find anything about a sunroof delete. I'm not a huge fan of there being a pane of glass over my head in case of a roll over.

Does anyone know of/heard of a company that does deletes for the s14? One of my buddies told some guy used to privately make carbon deletes for people. Would love to have one of those.

Any info is appreciated!

There is a company that makes a carbon fiber replacement panel, Im not sure who though.

Remove sunroof, Make a cardboard template...cut it out of sheet metal weld it in. paint to match.

Can't weld. I'd rather be lazy and put in a delete. I'm gonna look into that kognition one.

You do not have to weld actually if you make a patch panel for the roof and go down to your local auto body parts store they have an epoxy that you can use to mend the two together we did a test on it at school and the epoxy was stronger then a weld on the 16 gauge steal. Kinda looks like a big seringe type thing onside is a activator the other side is the epoxy. Good Luck with getting rid of the sunroof.

my stupid base model has a aftermarket push up sunroof. it doesnt leak or anything but oh well...

Ive got an SE with every option, even the OEM CD player. But I dont have a sunroof, wish I did.

i still have the factory cd player in my basement, but it's missing a couple of buttons and it looks worn. plus i like my kenwood deck better.

if your worried about a roll over then you might want to think about a few things. 1. the glass will break in most cases as would carbon fiber.2. Roll cage but its not really smart to have in a street car because the bars are just one more thing for your head to hit when in a accident unless you want to wear a helmet all the time.3. take it to a body shop and have them remove the sunroof and weld in a metal pannel.

last but not least

4. Stop driving like s*** so a roll over is the last thing on your mind.

I meant to ask this question on another thread..Did the sunroofs come with covers because mine doesnt have one and I thought the guy I bought it from removed it for some reason. It sucks when the sun is roasting my head. I think I just wanna tint it 5%

if any1 on this forum decides to sunroof delete sell me your old sunroof cuz i need to change mine....(seal is all torn)

Seal is like $70 from Nissan. However the trim around the glass only comes on the glass and that's like $800.
