Hey, Just a quick question for everybody!

I know there's the common diff swaps listed all over, however In my case I want to know if there are any other possibilities because I have to replace the drive shaft (It decided to become one with the diff). Perhaps needing to go with a custom shaft will allow me to get a unique diff setup? I dont have ABS either.

Thanks!
James

S15 Diff in HLSD case, J30 or 180sx VLSDdiff, R32-33-34 VLSD's S14 or S13 welded diff, or aftermarket clutch diffs or the mini spool. You can also use a Z32 NA VLSD with a combination of one Q45 and one Z32 axles which requires drilling the input pinion flange to match the DS pattern.

I dunno what your going for, but it's not necessary.

The na z32 is a direct bolt-in aside from swapping the rear cover(iirc just for the s13) and getting your hands on some 5 bolt axles. However, the 90-96 q45 diff requires all that you posted above to work, plus swapping to the z32 tt or 90-96 q45 rear hubs(and I think the spindles as well) since the q and the tt z use thicker axles.

How close are you to Gettysburg? You can have a free s13 diff, it has a j30 cover bolted onto it right now. Just needs the cover taken off and sealed and a fluid change.

I was just wondering if there were any other possibilities because I have to replace the driveshaft with a custom one. Aside from the normal hub and axle swaps.

OP with replacing the driveshaft you could upgrade to one of these :)

and just throw in a 95+ J30diff and go!
