since the admins closed down my previous post.. ILL OPEN ANOTHER! i did search and all i found out is what i already knew. Stock S13 is +40 offset...

I'm planning on some 17x10.5 Volk TE37s in the rear and 17x8.5 in the front. Obviously Z32 brake upgrade and I have 50mm wide fenders i will be putting on in the rear (yes i want a big lip) I have no idea what offset to use. ive never had to deal with wheels on a car before cause i never cared what my car looked like till now and since the SR swap is done. I can have fun in other areas of the car. any help would be appreciated

Thanks!

have you tried using the links in you know, the FAQ? Just keep the offset less than "8mm closer to the strut" and you'll clear, but beware of the suspension geometry issues you're bringing o...

wider isn't always better. And FYI:

And If I feel so inclined, I may lock this one too, since offset v. width has been discussed so much it makes my head hurt in these forums (esspecially pertaining to the S-chassis). Everything from a 7.5" top a 12" wheel width has been discussed, and anything in between (like half sizes) that haven't been, could easily be extrapolated using the resources that abound around you (IE, the FAQ's)

Christ.

"Teach a man to fish..." and all that. Try the linsk first, do some leg work and think ti through..there's LOTS of info on this....

Opening another thread, after one has been locked/deleted/moved is very poor netiquette, and requires NICO's mod team to spen more time than necessary moderating the site.

Here's a good tool to help you garner better search results.zerothread?id=105819
