my first gear goes up to 30, second 55, third 85, forth 115, and thats taking it all to red.. so it is a little different... i've driven the 91 models and the gears are longer and a 97 model...91-94 has the longest gears from what i seen .. and yes they are stock..gsr weight is 2700 range the type R's are 2500....they are fast, to you maybe...

stock for stock; the type-r will leave the 240(de) in the dust; and i'm not being bias either.

yes your 240 in the dust... but hey i've raced type R before... yes they beat me but my front bumper dont leave their back..i've had a 92 hatch si hatch with a b16a2 running 14.0 so yes honda's are "kinda" fast

From what ive read the gear ratios Are the same, the transmission is the same one.. but do you have proof about the gear ratio's between ka24e transmission and a ka24de transmission? 15.1 in a basically stock 240 is almost unheard of also, was this on a 8% grade downhill track or what?

Not to sound like a complete *** but my stock 240 ran a 15.3 and my clutch blew out ON THAT LAUNCH. It's not really unheard of to me. That was on a straight track too.

not too bad... my GSR went to 40 1st, 70 2nd, 95 3rd, 125 4th, and had room to spare at 145 in 5th (I felt that was fast enough for me on a local highway)

a civic and teg can be made to be fast but who wants another one of those, i mean every one has one and the 240 is getting popular. i'm thinking of getting a sc300 with the mighty 2jz... j/k ... i'll think about it... hahaha

The Type R's come 190hp stock, and weigh around 2300lbs, not 2500. Trust me, I know, my roommate owns one. He has I/H/E and no powerstearing and ran a 9.3 in the 1/8. And I cant even touch him when we race.

the type r weights exactly 2643 pounds! which is only less than 200 lb from the s13

and plus i well never get a type r even if i had the chance, the theft rate are pretty high and for the amount you safe you can make a gsr faster.

yes but the suspension on the R is better then the gsr.. and its all about how you put that hp to the wheels not how many hp you got
