I got an S13 T25 recently and decided to take it apart to check the bearings. Well the bearings are almost brand new and look fine, but after reassembling it; it locks up when i tighten the nut on the compressor wheel and it will not spin. Even with the thrust bearing and bearing removed it dose the same thing.

Exhaust side****ty phone pics but there is a coil type snap ring along with a washer under it and a bearing.

If im missing any parts lmk.

i did the same rebuild and it had the same problem look on the exhaust side when you put the shaft in and on mine the seal on the shaft the medal one was keeping it from spinning. you have to get it in their just right but dont force it b/c the housing will crack

Ive had the same issues when rebuilding T25s, that backside seal is very finicky. You wont be able to see bearing wear until its excessive. I would recommend a rebuild kit, they come with all new seals and bearings, and you can get them cheap.
