God I hope so since he paid the price for 2 Sr20 motors.

My cost for a motor rebuild is around $600 + parts for your basic rebuild, HG,Rings,Studs. I send the block to the machine shop which only costs me around 80 bucks to have them hone and clean the block.

So far I'm at 898$ for the cp pistons and eagle rods shipped to my house.

Will be dropping the block off at the shop this week hopefully.

Does anyone have info on the ARP main stud issue? Mine are hitting the upper oil pan

You need to shave down 2 of them. There should be only 2 that hit from what I've read.

I sent ARP an email asking if they have addressed the situation yet. 2 months and no answer...

Yeah I'm not sure which ones were hitting, but do people shave the studs or the oil pan down?

Machine shop told me $140 to polish the crank, acid dip the block, and hone. Sounds like a good deal to me.

Mine cost 3400 out the door..

-New Cosworth Headgasket-OEM Valve Cover Gasket-New Spark Plugs-OEM Valve Stem Seals-OEM Connecting Rod Bearings-OEM Main Crank Bearings-OEM Thrust Bearings-ARP Main Studs-ARP Connecting Rod Bolts-ARP head studs-Piston/Rings-Machine Crank, Head, Block-Hot tanked.

Might be a bit much.. but worth it since I never worked on a SR before

They removed the engine, did the tear down, the machining, and the re-installation.. along with all the fluids. They also did a few other things too that i didnt list..
