Ok, I just cranked it for the first time yesterday, the fuel pump primed for a second and sounded kinda weird... it would crank but not turn over.

I have spark and also removed the fuel feed line, put it in a cup and primed the pump and it filled the cup with gas, so pump is good and I have pressure to the rail but I keep checking the plugs and they aren't wet nor do they smell like the old nasty gas that is in the tank. I don't have a multimeter so I removed the cas with the ignition in the on position and turned the gear by hand and the injectors clicked 1,2,3,4.... I suppose this means that they are getting power? I used to have an AFC hooked to the wiring harness but I soldered the wires back together, besides, none of the wires to the AFC really would interfere with the injectors firing.

So, If It was a wiring issue or sensor issue, where would I look first? I'm pretty sure that the CAS is responsible for telling the injectors to fire, Right?

I found a similar issue in the search but it was someone with a CA and they were talking about a dropping resistor..?? They didn't really talk about the CAS that much though. Any help would be appreciated

I'm about to run to the store and get a can of carb cleaner/engine starter to see if i can get it to run!

it starts and runs for a second when i spray carb/choke cleaner in the throttle body. I'm going to go out and switch fuel pumps, I have an HKS fuel pump in there now and I'm going to use my old GTR fuel pump. I'll post up what happens.

well the pump is good, so no problem there. The same stuff keeps happening. Pressure to the fuel rail but no injector firing. help. what controls the injector pulse, the CAS and ECU?

guys, used a noid light on injector 1 and it didn't flash. I replaced the 2 green relays and cleaned the grounds by the fusebox and it still won't work. I am going to borrow a multimeter to check exactly what is going to the injectors, cas and all that. The Injectors and a relay in the fuse box clicks when I turn the CAS, I can also hear the fuel pump doing something too.

stupid question, did you reverse the fuel feed and return line?

That's what I was gonna say. This actually happens more frequently than one might think.

I've done that before too, reversed the feed/return lines and no start. But if you already confirmed you got the right one by disconnecting it and turning the pump on, that kinda eliminates that. Try swapping the ECU out, then check all your grounds and make sure everything is hooked up properly.

thanks afracer,

I haven't yet ben able to use a multimeter. I'm going to check the resistance on the injectors with the key in on position. Maybe later tonight when I get a battery from a friend. So, can anyone tell me why my injectors click when I spin the cas? What does this actually mean? Are they supposed to be firing? When they click, does that mean they are getting power and the ground signal from the ECU?

hmm my injectors have been sitting for about 3 years... this could be the problem.. i'm just putting this out there!

"Can stuck injectors that have sat for years be serviced?

Injectors that are stuck closed due to no-nuse for long periods can usually be serviced. We have better than a 95% sucess rate of getting them back up to spec.It sometimes takes an extra day or two in the shop for these. In some cases, corrosion has damaged them to a point where they can not be saved. ''
