if the whole firewall was swapped you will see the weld marks around the outside also and wiring conversion for the headlights and such

I know I know the thread is like 2 months old but seriously guys? Its not that hard and all the parts you listed can be swapped or whatever. I have a real Silvia and I have several friends with RHD converted S13 coupes... just look at the firewall seamsealer around the corners of it and itll normally be sloppier if its converted and obviously everything NEVER works when its converted, typically no AC, windshield wipers will go the same as a normal 240 if its converted and will go the opposite way if its legit. Look at the paint in the engine bay and see if it looks origional or repainted. Someone said the mirrors are different... well yah duh obviously if its JDM it will have power folding mirrors, also JDM Silvias have painted side mirrors and USDM ones dont. Finally a JDM Silvia will have a 10 digit vin number and a converted one will have a 16 digit vin. Hope this sheds some light on things.

I highly doubt it's real. And if it was he couldn't register or title it in Cali anyways.

nah man, silvia's have the winshield motor on the left. frame rail is best option, little things like import stickers are a dead giveaway as well, ive had my car for almost 5 years and i still havent taken mine off. VIN would be as well.

I already said that :p

anyways I went out and took a couple pictures of mine for reference

windshield wiper motor...

the other telling thing is the radiator support.. it doesnt have the threaded holes where the pop-up headlight assembly would bolt onto

yea I was gonna build a RHD S13 then after riding in afew friends of mine I decided wiring grimlin, no AC, and all kinds of little BS problems and s*** that doesnt quite line up wasnt for me so I got a super good deal on a real Silvia and got a good deal on importing it so yup thats that. Before this I also used to have a Y33 Cedric Grand Turismo Ultima here in the US as well :p (saw your cars and noticed the Y32)
