I'm still intrigued by the dummy mafs concept. anyone actually tried that yet?also, does anyone know what the stock S13 DE mafs maxes out at? cause **** I'm running twin turbos and I can get an extra DE mafs for like 5 bucks, but I was gonna use a Z32 mafs and that is gonna cost me more...

I believe at 6-7psi, some people reported the MAF was nearly maxed (very close to 5V).

On the back side of the MAF, simply cut a whole and have a filtered tube attached. It will suck in unmeasered air. If you want it to come from the same source, then route the tube to start just prior to the MAF and end after it.

So troubleshooting would be easy, simply install your injector, cut a drill/cut a whole in the intake. Start with a small whole and gradually increase the size of the whole until your idle stabilizes and your at a good AF ratio. The whole process would take me 15 mins after the injector install.

I understand your idea, its pretty much a dummy MAF concept, but where are we supposed to find such a small filter? Because I dont think there would be enough physical room for another big cone or what not.

if you reroute some of the air to go around the MAF, bypassing it coming from the same tube going into the MAF, and reinsert it going in after the MAF, then you would only need one filter

Or you could use one if these...

Look at the valve cover breather

There are filters of various sizes to be bought a Walmart for Breathers. Or simply look up filters on Google ands see what they have. Or like already said above, just have a tube start in front of the maf and end after it, effectively rerouting unmeasured air.
