S13 Headlights acting wierd Please help :)

Ok so i have a 93 vert the driver side headlight goes up and down normaly when i turn off and on the headlights.. the passanger only goes up.. i can twist it back down manually but it always stays up after i turn on the headlights.also when the headlights are off and i press the headlight up button inside the driver side goes up and than right back down it will not stay up?

any ideas where i should start?

check over the relay for the headlights. see if the switch to flip em down is working.

do the lights stay up and down at opposite ends, ie one up and one down? if so then u need to just unplug one of the light brackets and let it drop to its off position. i had this problem about a year ago and the guy in here helped me out. if u need more info just ask as im hardly doing a good job explaining it.
