i use to be on this site way back when and have forgot my log in and pw. well i recently got into a front end accident which involved me and the freeway barrier. i was plannin on running the yellow and the car infront of me decided to break. to make a long story short i hit the freeway barrier going anywhere from 20-35mph.
i messed up my front bumper, driver side fender, and hood. i fixed all the cosmetics, but it seems my headlights wont retract at the same time. when i turn them to the on position they will both go up, but than the left one will go back down n stay there. when i turn it off the left one will than open up and the right one will close. the two lights stay at opposite positions. sorry for the lack of pictures.
case and point the headlamps lights turn off and on no problem, they just stay at opposite positions. i also replaced the driver side headlamp assembly just to make sure it wasnt that. i have asked this question to several 240sx owners and they say its something to do with the wiring, but i checked it and to still no avail. please help as i just permanently leave the headlamps in the on position by unplugging the fuse and readjusting one of the knobs.
