Just wondering what everyone thinks about this conversion? I have never seen one around but hear that with some cutting can look very clean... Let me know what you think

imo... I think A LOT has to be done to make it look right. YOu can't just slap on the front end and be done with it... you're changing the body lines of the car, and by not doing something in the rear to at least try to match the lines of the front... you'd be aesthetically messing it up. That goes with any other conversion... just don't half asss it./.02

Yea imo the silvia front end is played out because it seems like everyone does that conversion... I want something different and love that blue one with the conversion

Yah it doesn't look too bad, it does need something in the rear to make it look right.

How about a strawberry face?

This one is from a guy from the Dutch forums ( still needs to be lowered and somne sideskirts)

IMO this front end fits the lines of the car more, dont know how unique it is in the States though.

Talk about played out... I think the Silvia front-end comes in second place to the strawberry face.

...i....i think....i think i dig this! lolnah, but heck i think its much more pleasing to look at than that s14 conversion in the other thread!if i was a good body beater and had the parts, id do it in a second. ive never seen one in person, ever. and i like that.

I'm looking to do the 280z front end on my 89' 240 fastback.. but the bottom half of that front bumper doesn't look like it's from a pignose or a 280..

does someone know what all goes into this in terms of body parts?

obviously i know there will be a lot of fabrication, etc, but I might just buy a rolling shell and go to town this summer..

thanks in advance

idk, I like every combination even s14.3 and s13.4(zenki). I think s chassis is simply gorgeous no matter what. It's always pleasure to look at all these conversions.
