It is iffy. But its not like i can do n e thing about it. i already own the clip.duffman1278 wrote:I don't see why not. I mean, the person might have liked the pop ups better. But hmmm does seem slightly iffy.
that does make some sence, but for some reason i was also under the impression that the reason why the s13s are cut is because they where involved in an rear end accident, which would mean that the car was running before it was cut. Thanks for the info though, i have never herd of a one via before.godzilla34 wrote:its called the one via. its the other sil-80 conversion. its like the coupes in the usa. since nissan put the sil-80s in production they made a few one via's to see how they would sell. nothing to worry about as far as conversions n such. id be more worried about the motor its self running properly and internals rather than the chassi. i checked the link and it sounds like it needs a tune for the ecu. what might of happened was the guy that had it before it got chopped was a project car and didnt get a chance to finish tuning it. its happened before.
You don't think I don't know that? I was making more of a mention that there was never any One-Vias made available for purchase. Much like I can buy a 240 with a silvia front on it, but I couldn't have rolled to a Nissan dealer in the 90s and bought it like that straight from the factory.FlatBlackIan wrote:Here in the US kids do front end conversions to their cars all the time. Japan is no different. Ide be very careful with that engine, Im betting its been beat on.
Hahahaha, I was sure you knew that, but it was something that hadnt been mentioned. I think kids these days idolize japanland. They don't realize that tuners there arent as different as those here. Its just that here, we have a lot more wannabes and cheap asses.Hijacker wrote:

Ain't that the truth.FlatBlackIan wrote:Its just that here, we have a lot more wannabes and cheap asses.
Maybe, but not this one. The whole car had a custom paint job. But now that i have been looking, i have actually seen a few jdm silvias with popups.sldewyz wrote:ive heard that before they ship them overseas they convert them to usdm fronts so they have a better possibility to get through customs(cuz we gots the popups and they probably wouldnt take a second look)...this might be one of those circumstances
i know, thats what i have been worried about. good compression thoughFlatBlackIan wrote:Here in the US kids do front end conversions to their cars all the time. Japan is no different. Ide be very careful with that engine, Im betting its been beat on.
yeah i bet the steering wheel being on the wrong side isnt a factor though lolsldewyz wrote:ive heard that before they ship them overseas they convert them to usdm fronts so they have a better possibility to get through customs(cuz we gots the popups and they probably wouldnt take a second look)...this might be one of those circumstances
