i guess the only thing you could do is get rid of the eggs, ir. powerwasher... i wouldnt bug bomb it because that cover your car in poison and that s*** smells. im scared s***less of spiders, i cant even imagine ones that could potentially kill... im gonna go hit myself with a big spoon till i cant remember seeing this thread :P

Yeah, those don't look like black widows to me. Not the right shape, color, or markings.Black widows are glossy black and have deep red dots on their backs as well as distinctive hourglasses on their bellies. They also have HUGE abdomens.

only the females have the hour glass shape on them; males usually only have dots if not just a stripe. but females usually kill the male after mating; so thats why you never seen them haha. males rarely bite too.

do you live on large property like a farm? its hard to imagine a large infestation like that in a neighboorhood. you need to get a pest control company out to your house and treat all of the harborage areas.

Throw a fogger under the car. The wash it with some high pressure water and really clean it out. Then park somewhere else.

male black widows are actually small and brown! when there full grown there half the size of the female and after mating the female kills the male hence the name black widow!, there are alot more males in an area than females and the females venom is much stronger so watch out for the big black ones wth huge asses...Good luck with the infestation

Wow, that s**t looks crazy. Just today I was getting gas, and there was a little spider by the pump and it was pinching it's little pincher things at me lol. And actually just about a week ago, I saw little strings of web in my car. I never leave the windows down and like most in here, I'm scared s***less of spiders. Any progress OP? I want to know if mothballs are the cure.

I'm going to grab some mothballs the next time I get out to the store but I haven't gotten a chance to go yet.

The entire time I lived in Naples the ONLY place I ever saw a poisonous spider was at Clam pass beach, so I don't think you have to worry about it much. They also don't like vibration and things that move. I have a RB25DET with solid mounts... When I have it up and running again they will run, or in this case fly.

Nope, a 1 acre plot.... The neighbor said he's never seen any spiders aside from the common Florida wolf spider. It's only in my jeep, the S13, and a little around the outside of my house. I think they're attracted to all the bugs that come towards the light when I work at night.

Damn that really sucks!! I went through some similar sh*t when my s14 sat in the driveway for 6 months (not black widows but spiders nonetheless.. and fire ants too). I would go buy a few cans of brake clean and spray the entire underside of the car and the engine bay! Brake Clean kills EVERYTHING and it cleans!!!

Good Luck Man!

i used to work at a reptile wholesaler and we had some of those camel spiders, id feed them pinky mice it was pretty fun. they DONT kill the camels they just chew into them. pretty gory s***. i hated having to clean their containers. i hated my boss with a passion because he knew how much i hated spiders but twice a week i had to feed HUNDREDS of different kinds of spiders. i forget the name of this one but it was some kind of forest spider and he was like oh ya by the way dont get bit by those it could kill you. WTF!?!?!?! i showed him that one had laid eggs and he was like cool hatch them........i took the whole container out back and killed the spider and the egg sack.....diddnt want to come in one day and have poisonous baby spiders everywhere.

one day i was feeding the chameleons and the rattlesnakes were above the chameleon cage and someone diddnt secure their cage and the rattlesnakes were loose in this huge warehouse. he was like go find them. i said f*** you and went outside till someone else found them. 7$ an hour was not worth it lol. he was like if you dont go find them your fired, i was like you wanna talk to my dad? he'll beat your a** if you talk to me that way again. lol
