Yeah, those don't look like black widows to me. Not the right shape, color, or markings.Black widows are glossy black and have deep red dots on their backs as well as distinctive hourglasses on their bellies. They also have HUGE abdomens.infinitedrift wrote:they dont look like Black Widows, they should be jet black and have a red dot on the bottom of them which is very noticable. Regardless....good luck.

The entire time I lived in Naples the ONLY place I ever saw a poisonous spider was at Clam pass beach, so I don't think you have to worry about it much. They also don't like vibration and things that move. I have a RB25DET with solid mounts... When I have it up and running again they will run, or in this case fly.1996N1ss@n240SX wrote:hey fibre guy i know how u feel like i said i live in naples and im sure once my car gets back from the wash ill have to do a good cleaning on it and watch out for those spiders
Nope, a 1 acre plot.... The neighbor said he's never seen any spiders aside from the common Florida wolf spider. It's only in my jeep, the S13, and a little around the outside of my house. I think they're attracted to all the bugs that come towards the light when I work at night.ray666 wrote:do you live on large property like a farm? its hard to imagine a large infestation like that in a neighboorhood. you need to get a pest control company out to your house and treat all of the harborage areas.
