Hey guys long time huh. well i want to get your feedback and see what you guys think. i have been planning to get an s14 and now the time is finally here. but now im thinking of getting an s13 again and fix it up right this time.

if i get the s13 i am going to do a front end conversion but am not sure what conversion to do. this is where i need your feedback.

s13 to s14 kouki front end conversion?

s13 to GTR-32 front end conversion?

The GTR-32 conversion would be much harder to do and a lttle more pricey but it would be awsome to own an s13 which i want w/ a skyline front end so i would have the best of both worlds. but the s14 kouki conversion would be easier and still look good. i might be leaning towards the gtr-32 conversion but im just not sure because of all the work in finding the parts.

which comes to the next part.

does anyone have any specific website for either of these for conversions for the s13?

Thanks

If you have to do a conversion, do the S14. They are pretty easy to make look good. Doing the R32 conversion is near impossible to make look right. They always end up looking incorrectly proportioned because the body lines just dont match up. Ive never seen an S13 that actually looked GOOD with an R32 front end, and Ive looked. Ive seen lots of them, but 95% look like complete garbage, and the other 5 percent just look eh.

I wouldn't do a skyline conversion. Unless proven otherwise Skyline front ends have only looked good on skylines.

i founf the ait fenders and i think im going to go with those. the only thing i dont like about them is that they are not dually vented. besides that, they look lagete.

but what about the hood and the front bumper? do i have to find a special hood and fron t bumper specifically made for this conversion? or do i just order the s14 hood and front bumper that i want?

nice idea, but im going to go all the way with the s14 kouki front end.

i have one more question. i read that the factory s14 hood hinges must be used but i have read that the kouki hood will not fit properly if using the s14 hood hinges? is that true? i read that you must use the s14/s15 hood hinges in order to get it exactly correct?

any feed back?

Here's the Skilvia from the Vert forum. S13 with R32 front and rear end.
Just so you can see what a PITA it is to weld everything in place etc.
