So I came upon 5 FC injectors at the yard. They are the orange top 460cc injectors.

Now we know that stock are 370's and to buy the R33 444cc injectors costs around ~$200 so falling upon these seems like a great deal. Only one problem...they don't fit the rail OR the secondaries.

The top of the injector is marginally bigger than the stock CA's (@ the rail) the bottom of the injector and it's sealing ring are about 1/16" too big for the secondaries

I was thinnking of boring out the rail and secondaries to accomodate the larger FC injectors. Other than the top/bottoms of the injectors everything else is identical between the two injectors.

So is this a good idea to modify the rail/secondaries to make them work? The engine is going through a rebuild right now so taking things apart has already been done

Thanks.

I didn't. Just went with 450cc from eclipse(what if you want to upgrade one day ).

My car didn't have any lean issues when I first put them in.

Whatever injectors you use make sure they are in great condition. It's a lot of trouble pulling apart the manifold to test things out.

thanks but all I need to get the the stock CA seals and install them on the RX7's and they'll work. Plus I could use that $75+ to get them flow tested.

thanks again.
