I'm goin to look at a few 240's, and i dont really know where to look for rust on these cars. the body dtyle question is the 95-98. i'm sure its been asked, but i dont feel like lookin through tons of pages of topics. thanks for your help.

Yeah... the thing is... You really should search. If you really want to get a good car then do your research.

Look on the car. That's usually where rust develops.

rust tends to form on metal....or at least thats the word on the street

Rust forms on the S14's in a few particular spots fairly often. On the front of the rear quarter panels on the side of the body is a big one. Also under the car by the rear quarters as well. Check where the front fenders meet the door as well. That tends to collect loose dirt, water, sticks and whatever else can make its way past the rain guards, rotting it out pretty quickly. I'm going through a zenki right now thats rusted to beat jesus. So good luck with your purchase!

big prob spot id add it the spare tire well, the rear and side truck seals tend to leak leving it full of h2o, and with the exhauast close you get heat ./.. and wha laa hidden rust bucket

Try to get a look at the frame rails if you could

^this too...in my s13, there's rust right above where the door hinges are at.
