Rust on my new Brakes

I was on the fence about buying these. they look good, brakemotive is a sponsor for the other forum as well as several other forums such as mustang and corvette forums.

most people will jump out and say they're junk because they cost so little. they could be cheap depending on how they're made, cheap drilled rotors are notorious for cracking. also if they holes aren't rounded over on the inside then that's also a sign of cheap quality/manufacturing. i couldn't really find too much info about these brakes/rotors in particular but they seem legit

Mine has a lifetime warranty against craking or warping... so Im not worried plus $215 if I had to buy new ones in a couple years Im not upset about that!

Pull the rotors, clean the rust off with a wire wheel or wire brush, steel-wool the s*** out of them, clean them real well with brake cleaner, and paint them with some high-heat paint (make sure to mask off the swept surface).

Greg big props on the painting rotors it made a huge difference!!!! I painted them last night and it looks 10times better! Hopefully it holds up

I was lookin at the rust on the rotors and now im thinkin about painting them as well, did you use a certain color DReed86? I was thinking a flat black or gray
