Ok, so this has been happening for a while now. I've had my car for about 2 years, and this winter things started going wired. I live in Reno Nevada, so we have crazy weather her(not like other places but still crazy). Long story short, when the weather is cold out side, my car runs like sh##t. When i just drive it normal in like 1st or 2nd it will just hold back real bad then get power again and when in high RPMs its like v-tech u can feel a pull right after 5500rpms. Now when the weather is warm , my car runs like a beast compared to how it runs when its cold. I've tried to figure out what it is, and still cannot find the problem.

Ive done a full tune-up cleaned my MAF sensor, check all ground cables, checked for unplugged things, no vacuum leaks and nothing.

Thought id ask the guys who know best about KA's.

I'm thinking its a temperature sensor thing???

any ideas?

Thanks

I suggest a basic tuneup, new sparks, o2, air filter, if you can afford it get your valves adjusted too. And does this have any relation to your actual temp gauge? See if it starts running better when its fully warm.

I know that the resistance of electrical stuff varies in regards to temperature, but I'm not sure exactly what part we are dealing with here. Pull some trouble codes if you can. I'm not sure that your IAT sensor would make it run like that, I know mine will run with it unplugged; but I have a Hitachi ECU on an OBD2 SOHC truck KA--different from yours.
