I'm glad you happened to be one who replied. I sent you an email about 15 minutes ago about something else.neonbomb wrote:Im using them with Nismo isolators and my hood closes fine on the stock intake mani. I was wondering this same thing when I ordered them, but rest assured it fits!
That's what Im afraid of...especially since I have Nismo KA replacements. Push comes to shove, I'll just have to buy some of those E30 mounts.matafied wrote:i ran them on my last setup and i had to run bmw mounts so the hood would close
Oh, really? Please do take pictures! of the mount kit too, especially, ASAP. lol thanks man.dftsilvia wrote:i just purchased the ruckus-racing mounts for my s14 with an rb25 neo. i had a little trouble but nothing that couldnt be fixed. customer service has been great since i know him from ohio drifting. the transmission mount that came with my kit didnt fit but he is sending me there new adapter brackets, apparently they are not using the pre fabed mount anymore because they were having some troubles. so now it comes with syko style adapter brackets for the trans. when i get them in the mail i will post up the install
Thanks for the pic. Did you get oem replacement e30 mounts, or a polyurethane variant?matafied wrote:mine was in a s13, and i didnt not have any elbow rubbing issues. just had to shoe horn it in lol but ounce it was in the placement was perfect. but if you ever had to change the clutch wouldnt happen
Gotcha. What downpipe + turbo dump pipe did you use?matafied wrote:i was tight on time and couldnt wait on shipping so i used oem, if you use the e30's go aftermarket poly, oem was to soft , but it was cool for a daily driver
You just measure from the output to differential. It can be very different and i know because ive put an s13 driveshaft in my 14 with the rb swap just to see, and it was indeed about 3 inches shorter.meet07 wrote:All you need to do is give them the dimentions of your stock driveshaft correct??
Then again how diffrent can a driveshaft be in length???
Is that all you have to do? If that's the case, looks like I seriously may be ordering the ruckus-racing mounts. My major concern is being able to close my hood (s13). I've noticed that grinding down the turbo elbow is common.neonbomb wrote:

Nismo/Megan/New OEM KA mounts + polyurethane (just take your time with it and make it look nice and neat)meet07 wrote:what are you guys doing with the insulator mounts. I remember reading something about hokey pucks??
I know that Nismos are available but I want something solid. Something that wont move.
s13 + Ruckus kit + stock intake manifold + no problems?matafied wrote:just finished one yesterday on a customers car so that makes 4 with rb crossmember's and 2 with the mount kits so far
They don't eliminate anything. They go on your existing crossmember. Basically add-ons.hinds90 wrote:Does this mount kit eliminate the sub frame. If so what are the disadvantages of no sub frame.
