The RPS cluch gives a firm pedal, if you want the lightest pedal possible go buy the cheapest stock replacment off ebay, but If you want one that will last and have a stock pedal feel (light) just get an exedy stock replacment.

RPS makes great products... I've had their MAX street clutch for over 2 years now and love it. The pedal feel is heavy compared to a stock clutch, but that's because this clutch holds 475ftlbs of trq. I would imagine that their Sport clutch has a stiffer pedal, but it shouldn't be anything like mine.

I had the most basic one on my S14.

stock KA

I think it was the STREET clutch.

it NEVER slipped. It held fine. It was a LIGHT pedal.

I wish I had one in my new car.

Loved it!!!!

I just ordered a RPS SPORT street clutch...

The Sport series is the newest clutch in RPS' inventory. Sport Series Pressure Plates are similar to "Heavy Duty" pressure plates from ACT. This clutch kit can hold up to 220 foot pounds of torque & is 15% stiffer than stock. They are intended for use in cars with mild modifications (exhaust, intake, boost controller, small turbo upgrade, etc). The Street Disc is the entry level disc in this series. It is a full face organic disc that is extremely slippable and the most friendly clutch you could ever put in your 240SX.

I will see how it is on my back and my car.

Thanks

Ive been running the RPS in my SR for 3 years. The clutch is as light as stock. Wish I could say the same about the engagement.

Tell me about the engagement problems? I am looking for a clutch that will allow me to have some fun like catching 2nd, burning out, ECT. Maybe a few times a month when I just want to let loose.

Also the past clutches never burned up, the TOB would melt itself to the fingers of the PP.

Its not really a problem. Im running a 6 puck disc with a sprung hub with a stage 2 pressure plate. The setup is rated for 550 ft lbs of torque. Needless to say it is a little bit grabby. I have no issue with it, but anyone who has never driven the car will stall it their first few tries.

Well, I have the street clutch and it was fine.

I suck at driving, and I did ok at this one.
