Sorry to hear about your luck as well. It's hard to believe that the service manager would complain to a customer and suggest that they go somewhere else, for what sounds like THEIR incompetence. I'm sure that the rep will be interested to hear what the service manager had to say.

I still love my car (even moreso if I ever get some of the issues fixed), but this whole experience has kinda soured me towards the Nissan brand, and I doubt that my next purchase will be from them. Maybe when I move this weekend and start going to the Nissan there I'll have better luck. I'll keep ya posted.

Since this is near topic-- what is the rpm we should be idling at normally? As soon as I press my ignition button I idle at a tad over 1k rpm. Is that normal? I never really paid much attention right after I bought that car and it feels like the idle at 1k rpms is a tad high?

Thats normal. When the car is cold, it will idle a bit higher than normal. My guess is that it does that to warm up faster...

mr. Music is right it does idle a little higher when it first starts up. Under normal condition it should be about 600 or so.

Nifty,as far as the car goes Ilove it as well and could not think of what I would buy if I had the chance again. If they could get this idle thing fixed and my window rattle taken care of then it would be great. If you think about roll your drivers window about half get out and close your and let me k ow if it rattles or sounds loose. I want to know if I am chasing a design flaw or if this is truly abnormal. On second thought maybe you shouldn't in case it does and you never noticed it might become another headache.

I haven't really noticed any rattles coming from closing the door with the windows half open, all of my rattles seem to be coming from under the headliner around the sunroof. Hopefully I can at least get that fixed.
