Ebay always has them, these are personally my favorite wheel. I'm glad to see a thread backing up Rota's though.

look under the suspension/wheels/tires area

i just thought it was funny that AMS performance uses Rota wheels on their drag Evo, out of hundreds of other options and "Better" wheel choices out there, they chose Rota wheels for their 1100whp track car, a car that reaches 170mph, and dont give me any of that crap that the wheels dont matter because they are only going in a straight line, the fact is that they were chosen above others, yes knockoff's....

Since this is about Rota.... I've heard you can get the D2's in low offsets with some actual lip. Though I've never seen any. My friends swear they have them... I realize they are not gonna be Works status lip or anything but does anyone have/ know of D2's with low offset or lip to speak of???

And where can i find em!?

That's the best I could find... What's your friend's definition of 'actual lip'? Maybe he was thinking of the Elite wheels or some SSR's...

i have the most aggressive sizing for the D2's and they are flush, but not much lip and its a stepped lip to boot (17x8.5 +20)

Or if we ever knew where the hell Elites came from, so we could go to the source instead of screwing around with the middle man...

Funny thing is that phase 2 gave me all of the info of the company but you have to have 48 orders for them to sell to you

^^^ Did they tell you the wheels were discontinued or did Phase2 just stop carrying them? If they still make them, but will only sell in bulk, maybe you can ask for another distributor that they use?

Are other sizes available besides 17x9+15?

Phase 2 apparently "discountinued" them due to them not working with phase 2 and not taking less than that many orders....Phase 2 informed me that it took them a while to get rid of those wheels and that they couldnt justify spending that much money to sell a few sets and have the rest sitting around (which I understand).....As fas as another distributor I know Enjuku used to carry them but I doubt that they would purchase that many sets either since they are pushing the 2nd coming of meagan parts lately.....After speaking with phase 2 i got the impression that the wheels were going to die out beacuse nobody plans on buying the amount of sets that elite is requesting.... this was around the beginning of this year and i still havent seen another vendor for them so i guess my assumption was correct

I have Rotas p45R on my kouki, and I will keep rocking them... I don't feel like paying 3K for a set of Nismo's and then cry when I see a curbed/rock chip on my wheel.
