okay so yea i just purchased this car its my first s13 my previous cars were an ae86, and an mr2 turbo. if anyone would like to see pics of those feel free to post.to show.

now to the s13 roll on paint. so far so good i tried on a couple parts before i done this took me a couple times to get it right.

this was the sanding down and fixing the dents.

First layerthose are second.

also i have a set of 5zigen's fno1 on their

when i got the car is was in really bad shape. so i tried my best to bring it back some love. the wheels were extremly damaged so i grinded and sanded the lip to get rid of the curb marks.it was soo bad the brake dust ate through the clear coat on the rim. so i wet sanded the coat off before paint. den i pinstripped them purple.

let me know what yall think more pics this coming weekp.s not too harsh on the replys please im sensitive. =]

Take some outside pictures while the sun is out, I can't really tell from these but it seems like you did a pretty nice job.

Lol @ indoor. I wish my friend, the thing that sucks most is that I have a garage. I just can't use it, renting houses sucks.

roll on is by far the best (cheap) method. Unfortunately, i live in seattle, and I had to get it in and out of my friends dad's garage within two days. and it's of course still rain season here, so my only option was a spray bomb job. which still turned out satisfactory for me.

anyways, be sure to post more during and of course after pics so we can really see your work. good luck dude.

btw anyone have any pics of anyong changing a quarter pannel. i did not rollon paint the driver quarter panel because i still have to finish bono and fixing. it was pushed in now its out but i need to get the groove its soo hard.

im thinking of just cutting the whole upper quarter panel and weldingon a new one as you can see in this pic?

you think my car will buckle? or should i just try to fix this

I would love an AE86, don't those things weigh something like 2200lbs? Sounds great in my book. But yeah back to the roll on, I want to see daylight pics. Oh and you can't really replace a 1/4 panel. Its pretty much just cut and weld or overfenders.

yes you can replace an entire quarter panel. time consuming, but can be done. although i dont see anywhere on the OPs car where his .25 needs replacing. i can do an entire .25 start to finish in 6 hours prepped for paint.
