Man, i feel for you. Thats freaking horrible. Enuff Said.

Personal problems?!?!? WTF? thats no exuse to mess with somebody's $4200 (and a bunch of other ppl's money) unless your entire family is brutally murdered in front of you, then it might be understandable.

Everybody that is owed something should get together, like on a blank thread only for them and see if a class-action lawsuit is necessary. I bust my *** all day long at a job that I hate and nobody is going to mess with my hard earned money.

Fake tracking #'s......talk about shady. thats the epitomy of shady and also clearly illustrates how he think's hes smarter than all of you. 'I'll just give them a fake tracking #..that'll shut them up' WTF?!?!?

This has truly been a shocker to me about Brian. He even told me how he was getting you your parts from Japan "Nathan" and that's when he asked me for the cams and coilpacks and he paid me (very quickly) via paypal for them and also paid for shipping. ut something as simple as cams and coilpacks set off an alarm in my head, but he didn't seem harmful enough at that particular time because of his willingness to make good on a transaction he'd started with you. Once again man, I wish I had known, hell, I would've given you some of my extra parts for a fraction of that money.

Thanks a lot McAdam, I'll get in touch with you if it's necessary...Boost_boy...yeah, I thought he was believeable too because he HAS gotten some parts for other people such as Ian and aftermarket cams for another person I think GodzillaFan. It's very strange the way he has been doing business with me, it's almost like he's having a hard time getting the parts together and just wont come out and tell me so. If he had been above board and honest about it, given me a heads up that things would be late because he was having a hard time procuring the parts I would have been much more understanding about the situation. However, it seems that he thinks the best course of action is to lead me on until he finally gets things together (god knows how long that will take). This is all conjecture as I havent been able to make contact with him and have virtually given up, I'm past the stage of wanting the parts from him, I just want my money back so I can get a new engine and everything I need to get my car running. J92s, I hear you on the money, this is all money I saved up from mowing yards every summer for YEARS, I started when I was about 12 and this was some of that money. This summer I have a job doing clerical work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week...it's not an exciting job and I was hoping to put some of it into savings instead of having to spend even more of it on this car. The story with the tracking numbers is this: I finally got ahold of him about 3 weeks ago and asked where the parts were, he told me that he'd ship them out the next day but he could give me the tracking numbers then. Well he gave them to me and when I tried to check them the next day they didnt work, I was then unable to contact him and learned he had taken a trip to Colorado from his little sister. When he got back I finally contacted him by chance when his mom answered the phone while he was home. At that point he said his partner had not paid the airborne express bill and hence the parts had not been picked up and shipped out, he then told me that they would ship out very soon, I asked him where they were currently and he told me that they were AT his house. Well, obviously that didn't happen, then he ran across the thread in the CA section and once again assured me that they would be here this week...once again, no parts and he doesnt return my calls or answer the phone. If he had been more communicative and honest about the situation it's possible this all could be avoided, but as it stands I'm just looking to cut my losses and look elsewhere for an engine. Jon...I have to ship it back because my credit card company needs proof that I no longer retain anything from the original order in order to get a refund. I cannot protest part of a charge, it is an all or nothing situation.

hmm seems like nico has been makin about anyone a mod now.. ive been seein alot of new names around.. but eh whatever, its not my site... but if your mod'in ppl and they are able to delete threds thats speak poorly about them, well thats just not wright.. everyone should of known about the other posts about how he has screwd other ppl over.. and now look at what its gotten some ppl into.. its a shame.. thats alot of money lost that might of been avoided..

everyone that lost money, that sucks! i would call him and tell him that your contacting the local police and going to bring him to court, i would give him ONE week to refund all your money or u will take action. if everyone dosnt get their money back then call the cops.. there is no reason for u to lose your money like that.. if u went to a fast food place and payed money, then went to get your food and they told u the cooker was broke.. and that u have to leave, would u stand for it?! hell no... so call whoever u need to call to get your money back.. and try and get yourself an engine.. good luck to you all.. that really p1sses me off..

Allright, I'll catch you tomorrow Jon, heck you can even call me if you want: (972) 814-2712. Masterman...I gave him two days to get me the parts or I would contest the charges etc. I warned him of everything I was thinking of doing and he evidently disregarded it. He said on here that everything would be here but didnt follow through, he doesn't get another week. As for calling and telling him that I'm contacting the police I left a message saying so two days ago...he made no attempt to contact me then. He doesn't answer his phone, he doesn't return e-mails and I KNOW that people are home when I call, they just dont answer the phone anymore. I'm not even going to worry with calling anymore, it's past that point. As for the NICO mods...I havent found one yet that I dont like...with the exception of Bryan, I think they all do quite a good job.

I posted this elsewhere, but I'll add it here:

Brian, if you read this, please contact a NICO mod ASAP (preferably myself or Fred). We intned to cooperate fully with the aggrieved parties in providing IP info or whatever else they need to pursue their claims.

This is being very seriously discussed among NICO admin and moderators.

damn nathan, sorry about the money.... your credit card company is kinda wierd.... or i dont understand something.... you paid for all the stuff together (the motor and parts) or separatly, im guessing separatly, but if not. when i got the motor at a different time, i would have started to wonder.. but anyway... sorry about this whole thing...... if you dont get your maney back, maybe we could hold a fundraiser or something for you and rstol (sorry if i got your name wrong) and try to raise some if not all the money back.. i mean a couplr bucks from a couple people over time aint too bad....

Explicit...it was visa, and I was aware that the parts and the motor would come seperately because he said it would take about 3-4 weeks to get all the parts together but the motor was ready to ship. So I got the motor and fully expected the parts to follow soon which they didn't. It was actually one small charge and one big charge because I did it through paypal and until I got verified they would only let 750.00 through...so I sent him that to assure that the motor was mine, then I sent the rest the next day. I cant contest part of a charge and 750 aint gonna cut it. So I have to contest both of them to get my money back. At this rate, it looks like I'll only loose the shipping cost, but we'll see. I'm going to call Visa again and ask for some reassurance.

If something of a legal type action comes together I will support it, I want my $500 back. If someone would like to contact me or I'll when I get some time contact those involve and start getting our things together to begin the process that would be great. If I coudl get a clear idea of who is involved and how much money your out and what evidence you have of this transaction and what not (Privately) that woudl be the way to go.BTW, last I checked Brian had moved to Chicago if I'm not mistaken-James-James

James, unless he moved within the last week he is still in Rochester, I'll e-mail you with the information I have. Team23...while a sound beating would certainly be deserved, it would only cause more trouble than there allready is and probably end up with me in jail. I do wish things could be settled the good old fashioned way though...a duel!!!

Guys, I hate to hear about anyone getting ripped off. Especially on this site. There are so many good people on here and many of us are friends, even thou we have never met.

It is truely ashamed. I pass no judgment on the person in question, because it would be wrong of me not being involved.

I am very glad to see the Mod's helping to get to the bottom of this, it shows good of the whole NICO community.

Guys, I wish you the best of luck in getting your money back.

PS If there is an explaination for all this, the accused should speak up. And the quicker the better.

You have to register but they are well worth reading, it seems he is QUITE well known for ripping people off around there and lying. I think the truth of the matter is that he is just dumb as ****.

Use caution with your words, people. It's sad to imagine, but this guy *could*, if he really felt like hitting back, present a slander suit. However improbable, he could claim something absurd like personal grievance and damage to his reputation as a private seller, or something useless like that... and then provide what he might call *legitimate* reasons for his inability to fulfill his obligations to you.

Sure, it seems as though he's known for shady activity, but if this ever did make it to an attorney, I'm positive the first thing your attorney would tell you to do is stop talking about it, and stop posting on an internet forum.
