Interesting I didn't know a +20 was a bad offset.....Most Vip wheels range from -5 to 25......Honda is more like 35 or more. Not going to argue.

Basically A rim with a "real lip" is a multi piece wheel. The lip comes from having a front half barrel being pieced together with the rear barrel and a 3rd piece (the face) sandwiched in between. Normally these wheels are held together by glue, weld, or glue and the bolts you see on wheels on the outside of the face. fake lip is when you have a 1 piece wheel that has those same bolts there for looks only, (faking the funk) and no real function. Many of these wheels come in specific offsets with no customizing ability to give you either more or less lip.

I really have small room to call anything fake but as seeing I will be getting rid of my kit. Maybe that will give me my room back.

Kragen or autozone also sells this clip on type lip that you can add to your hub caps to give them lip! LOL!!!!! NO BS!!!!

Thanks for explaining.......I'm on a budget and are looking for new wheels but 3-piece wheels are a grip in 19's. I think I might go with the Stern st-1's in silver which are a knock-off of the Work VS-SS's..... I can't afford to spend 3600 on the works. There not VIP but I like them and they should go better with my car. Thanks again....

Yes they're expensive but that's why you save! And TRUST me you can defintly tell a high priced/quality from a lower priced rim!

Part of me thinks that some wheels get replaced by newer versions and so the old ones get phased out. also sometimes companies change names or merge and their products change with them.

The lights are just stock, I painted eyelids on them when I painted the car. The kit is by xenon and you can find it for under 700 complete. The coilover's are tein's for a 300z that were modified to fit properly by a machinist friend of mine. The wheels are Konig Verdicts powder-coated nissan super black. 19x8 with 20mm spacer in front and 19x9 with 25mm in rear. Thank you for your compliments....
