I drive a RHD 180sx because we drive on the opposite side of the road. If I go back to the states I will be happy with a RHD car. It is more practical. If you have that much money to throw around how about making your car insanely fast is my opinion.

lol... why in gods name would you want to convert to a RHD car?

Seriously, I understand why there are RHD cars and I know that for a person that grew up in a country where that exists.... that's cool.

but to convert a car to RHD in a country of LHD cars seems pretty silly. How would you overtake and pass cars safely on small roads, highway etc... ?

There is absolutely NO gain in performance from going to RHD, only seems to cost alot & increase traffic accidents, traffic tickets..... could end up costing you alot in the long run to own a RHD vehicle.

Just my opinion though, so take it as such.

Actually if you want to run the really crazy turbo settup's out of Japan you have to do that because they don't fit otherwise (trust me I know this for a fact with my old CA).

....ofcourse there will always be rare and extreme situations where converting might be justified but I dont think that applies in most cases =)

Are you saying that I cant run a crazy turbo set up with out going RHD?

take care,n

No you can, but you will more than likely have to do some crazy mods to the manifold, brake booster, and wastegate like I did to make it all work. I think it would have been cleaner to have done the swap on my old S13. Some of the manifolds and turbo set's fit better than others, so it all depends on which brand you go with.

Yea, I like the 'quiz' kinda makes it hard to disagree :)

Some of it is a bit 'out there' but overall the site makes great sense. Also check out RKBA.org and http://www.mallninja.com

One RHD car up here in Seattle huh, you dont get out much :P Even if I had all the pieces and someone told me that they would do it for me for free or give me a JDM 180SX id just keep my LHD car. Less hassle everywhere I go.

On the contrary to public opinion. i love RHD. It just feels right for some reason. I had the priveledge to drive the RHD, and I loved every minute of it. For some reason, drifting is easier as well. I cant explain my reasoning, but I fully support RHD all the way. Just call me riceboy #1 from now on!!!
