If you dont have the performance to back it up, especially if you dont have their particular parts, its a no-go in my book.

Kinda reminds me of this.

my guess is the guy who did it had a sense of humor and probably did it just for laughs.

I agree with mattyfo0z I think a Nismo, badge, licenses plate, etc. can show support for Nissan motorsports and there racing efforts. No different than a TRD decal on a Toyota or Honda racing on a Honda. As long as you are not claiming that your car is some Nismo special edition ,then you would be rice.

just debadge :facepalm2

The main argument is this.....the fact that you do put the nismo or any badge on you car regardless of whether or not you actually have the part isn't necessarily the issue here. It's you car so you can do whatever and noone should care, but here is where the problem comes in, anyone that's into the car modifying scene will inherently think that you have the parts you are advertising because that's how this works.

The reason most people are saying nay is because this is a car forum for people who are into cars. Honestly I couldn't be bothered with any of it, I'm just telling you why it's controversial.

I should have de-badged the car when I got it, just never got around to it
And rcboy514 I am NOT going to put a turbo sticker on it. However I do have some old T3 turbos lying around, who knows, maybe one day.

well they aren't "rice" stickers, but it looks like red neck stickers like something that I would see on an I-Roc Z . At least you couldve placed them properly rather than slapping em on there.

It just looks like they would go on a firebird or something, I mean I never expect to see drag race stickers on these cars. Yea I guess when I think of "placement" I'd expect it to see it on the side of the car under the side mirror....or i dunno. Yea Im sorry, I dont care for stickers, but I'd be a hypocrite if I were to ever say I never put stickers on my car. My old altima had one sticker. This is what it looked like.......because I am a huge dork

Image

So I dont mean to offend, I guess Zelda stickers are much rarer to see on cars than drag race stickers haha.

It's cool, I know almost no-one with our car actually races it. But I do, not a huge sticker person either but.. I'm quite happy with the things I have accomplished. What I put on my car is to show what I've done and where I've been with it :), people that know me respect me for that!

Normally I would be willing to do it, but this is my last semester and I want to try and make sure everything goes well as my classes are close to the minimum(very s*** semester). I refuse to come back, so I'll have to come next year to carlisle, plus, I live right by syracuse right now, it'd be too much :(!
