Is that graph corrected? Your HP vs TQ values are off too... whats the issue there? Should be crossing at 5252

No that's what it pulled graph to print but I do at first I thought that but I guess the turbo is so big it hardly gets to going at 5200

They do cross at 5250, but the HP/TQ are scaled differently so it doesn't appear to do so.

Do you tune other cars or just yours? E85 is awesome but its availability sucks. Got a GT35r and wanted to tune to ~425WHP on 93 with nistune, but I might go "green" and help save a couple trees :yesnod

Thanks, I'm hoping to go back to the dyno this weekend to improve and to finish the tune, like the cam tuning and up the boost some more.

Sorry Guys i been away for a while trying to sort out some issues i was having with car. so where do i begin. well first i would like to say that although i was kinda happy with the 775hp, it wasnt running right, and i didnt know it until i actually ran my car. but before that i was having fuel pump issues. so my first set of pump which were the walbro 400 lph twin, burned up (due to lack of gas in the tank, my gas hand was not working) so then i replaced them and could not get the car to hit and boost over 15psi with out leaning out. so that took a few months of thinking everything but the pumps then walbro came out with the e85 version of that pump so i bought those and what do you know, problem fixed. so i had to retune the on high boost again, an started noticing that my catch can was always full of oil when i was finish running the car, but didnt really put much thought into at the time. then i came across my first race, which was a fully built gtr r35 pushing 700whp, and after i gave a nice whooping i look back in my mirror not just see how far he was but notice smoke was coming from my car. so i pulled over and notice that i had almost no oil in the car and some of it was on the side of my car and on the outside of the motor where it should not be. so now im at lost in thinking what the he** is wrong. i go and buy better catch can, no fix, i buy this nice piece of personally made crafted oil caps that seat on top of the cam caps to prevent oil from splashing up (i forgot what the actual name is right now), still no oil in the engine. so then i do buy of research and do some heavy emailing to new Zealand and australia and to find out that it is 98% going to be my oil restrictors. on the rb30 and rb25 block they are both open with 2.0 mm restrictors. on the rb26 block one is closed and the other is 2.0mm. so tomei makes one that is 1.5 and you can get that here in the states but the problem is i need one that closes the rear than another one that is smaller. it is also recommended that for the power im making and poss more, i should go with a smaller than 1.5 so i got the 1.3 and closed one which took 3 weeks and $75 ago. so lastnight i had to pull the head off an install these which once the head is off takes all of 5 seconds. but i notice some things were not looking good. like i was having the head either lifted very slightly or is not sealed very good but lucky we found out why, the rb30 block uses rb25 size head bolts but i have an rb26 head and the rb26 bolts are bigger in diameters and small in lenght. so i put another spacer to make sure it doesnt go to the last thread anymore. so i will be keeping you guys on up to date on how this should be working for me. but for those that trying to make well over 700hp and/or boost you may want to invest in some oil restrictors.

btw my turbo is spooling ALOT spooner, didnt get to look at the full detail when i was trying it out before the pipe popped off.

Did you put a bigger drain on the back of the head like CarlH did?

i didnt do that as i would have to take the oil pan off. but if for some reason this doesnt clear the issue then i will be doing that

So I took the car out yesterday to street tune the car, I also put a bigger spring in the wastegate so it went 15 to25psi of base boost and after tuning it then running it, I think it's faster now on 25psi then it Was on 27psi which I made775. The power kicks in very fast now, if I'm driving 60 mph then drop it to 3rd it would be about 3700rpms and I hit it with in 3 seconds you better hold on for dear life. Before removing the head you had to wait until 5k to power. I maybe able to get it on the dyno this but don't know yet but I will keep u guys up to date.

Ok, so I'm back and the car is running again.. Lots of issues have happened but now I hope I got this fixed. So after I fixed the oiling issues I took it to the dyno and one first run the car pooped and started knocking but not the normal knock, so I took the motor apart n replaced the bearings and so far seemed to fix my issues, next will be to go to dyno to actually get my dyno numbers...

so ive been gone for awhile trying to get the car running good again, and in mist of things i knew the turbo was kinda bad(i thought). so i take it to get it rebuild, which i thought should have been a simple process, WRONG. while im at the turbo rebuild i decided to upgrade my wheel to a billet wheel. So it ended up needing to get ALOT of machining work to make this turbo new again. They said " i am surprised you were able to make power with this turbo, b/c the bearings had been gone in this thing". so i was llike oh dang. its been about 3 weeks in counting on getting it fixed but lead to turbo going bad was prob the same thing that cuz my engine bearings to go bad, OIL STARVATION. I hate this game...... but i should be back on the road sometime in the near future. im also while the car is down, try to upgrade the rear end with the Q45 3.54 diff and whole rear setup. and see whats that like. Then ill head back to the dyno. i also going to be doing back to back comparison of E85 vs E98 vs Race blended Ethanol. i do and have been sell ethanol if anyone is interested as well. but lmk what you guys think about this car situation....

well a lil more update on the car.... so i got the turbo rebuilt again BW s400, and took it the dyno and did about 8 pulls and turbo blows AGAIN... so i kindly to it back and they said it is not fixable.... so not only am i pissed i dont have a turbo nor do i have one in mind to use.... so i would like some suggestions on this.... i am still looking to make just under 1000 whp but i want lots of RPM's of power like i had on the BW.

well the folks at majestic turbo said it b/c it had an oil restrictor on it and BW need lots of oil... but i may have a great deal on a Garrett turbo gt42 series... whats your thought on this turbo never owned a garrett before.

Garretts are great turbos.. the old gt series were solid.. I have had a 30r and a 35r never had an issue with either one.

If it were mine I'd use a 6766 or a 6768.. those will have awesome response and make big power..

A friends 2.0l k20 made 987whp on rocket e85 with a 6766
