Wow James, is TN really that boring?;)

I have nothing to say about revolvers because I don't plan on getting one. Much rather have a semi auto.

EDIT: can't get a pic due to firewall at work, but it's a big, mean SOB with a 5-round magazine, 3" barrel if I remember correctly, nickel finish, hits like a freight train.

It wouldnt be the 4 foot flame coming out of your barrel when you touch off a 454 round, that makes this revolver intimidating!

To be honest, 44 Magnum and up are pretty kewl. I like the funcationality of a revolver chambered for the 454 Cassull. You can fire the 454 when you need more round velocity and fire the 45 Colt as a cheaper alternative. A guy I know from church was shooting at his brother's house. They had an inch thick steel plate and this brother shot it with the 454. The round dented the steel plate. His buddy had a 480 Ruger which shattered the steel plate. The 500 Magnum would probably destroy the steel plate like the 480 ruger did.

I know this is a long post and I'm not trying to preach to you about gun control. I think everyone should have and carry a gun. It levels the playing field. Just make sure you have the right mindset and self control before you get one.

I would suggest these words of advice for anyone who wants to own a hand gun for any reason.

A small frame revolver may look "wimpy" but they are pretty handy when carrying. Here is my baby.

that's really a very nice looking gun asthetically.

ultimately, I want one of the really hard to find 2 1/2 inch Pythons.

so mean looking.

there's always the Para Ordanance Warthog. It's an auto, but it's a 10 shot 1911.

that'll fit in the palm of my head.

edit: how could you not want this gem though

oh, how's that gun shoot Bud? I'm guessing pretty good, this little Taurus 911 I've got shoots pretty damn good.
