Ok, here's the list of issues the dealership says I need to have fixed:

REAR BRAKE PADS GETTING LOW @ 4MM, WARPED $322.16

SES LIGHT IS ON FOR CODE:P2A03, INSPECTED DRIVER SIDE EXHAUST COMPONENTS, VEHICLE HAS AFTERMARKET CATS. NOTICED NO INTAKE OR EXHAUST LEAKS. WHEN LOOKING AT SENSORS VOLTAGES ON C2 NOTICED, AIR/FUEL RATIO SENSOR AND REAR O2 SENSOR NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY AT TIMES. RECOMMEND *FIRST* REPLACING AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR AND REAR O2 SENSOR AND RECHECK AFTER REPAIRS. $956.62

DRIVERS SIDE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR O-RING LEAKING OIL ONTO EXHAUST MANIFOLD. RECOMMEND REPLACING CAM. SENSOR O RING $113.88

SLIP/VDC LIGHTS ARE ON WITH CODES:C1104, C1137, C1185 STORED. FIRST RECOMMEND REPAIRING CODE:C1104. PERFORMED CONTINUITY TEST FOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT, SIGNAL CIRCUIT AND GROUND CIRCUIT FOR DRIVER FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR, ALL READINGS ARE IN SPECS. **FIRST RECOMMEND REPLACING DRIVER FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR AND RECHECK AFTER SENSOR REPLACEMENT** $518.88

FRONT SWAY BAR BUSHINGS ARE BADLY SPLIT AND ENDLINKS HAVE EXCESSIVE PLAY. $348.29

RECOMMEND ROTATE/BALANCE-SEE TREAD DEPTH MEASUREMENTS $100.41

Ok, now the question: How long does changing the brakes on our cars take for all four wheels?

Is the camshaft sensor o-ring easy to replace? I've looked for write ups on this issue, also for the bushings, but I can't find anything. If anyone knows where write-ups are at for these, can you link me please? I have quite a bit of experience with cars and working on them, I'm just not sure how much work it'll take or what I'll have to move/remove to do the camshaft sensor or bushing repairs.

One last thing, how about the wheel speed sensor? Is it difficult to change this part?

Thanks all,
David

WOW

this dealer is definitely making boatload of money from its customers.

let's start with the easy stuffs first.

sway bushing, 20-30 tops and you can get them from any auto parts. labor is about 1 hour for both side consider this is the first time you're doing it. you first take the under belly pan (plastic piece off) then you will see the sway bushing. it is bounded by a clamp and two nuts. i do not remember the correct size but start with 10mm and go up from there. it should not pass 13mm. the torque value on that is low so do not over tighten. put some grease in between the bushings before tighten them up.

while you're there, take off the wheel and undo the speed sensors. It's a 10mm or small but that you have to take out from behind, where the hub is. you can take the whole thing out by unbutton it from the struts. you might have to undo the plastic liner to get to the end of the sensor wire. you can easily undo it when you see its end.

the two O2 sensors are some what involved but not too terrible. the rear is very easy, just make sure you have the right sensor from Amazon or any online preferred vendors. it's more expensive if you're buying from auto part store like advance auto or autozone. the front one is going to require you to have one of the O2 wrench. you can buy that on amazon as well. around 20-30 bucks. the schley one is expensive but absolutely beautiful and reliable to have. you will have to undo the end clip from above, you will need to take the intake tube and air filter box out for easy access.

rear brake is also easy to do. no special tools needed. i recommend replace both sides with the brakemotive kit. cheap and proven to work. i used two set already.

i'm not sure about the camshaft position sensor. might need some pictures before i can chime in. if it's what i think it is, then it's also doable. you just have to replace the whole sensor since you have it off already.

This might help with the o-ring issue:
m35-found-oil-leak-cuplrit-t599239.html

The other linked thread doesn't provide the part number, but they say it's approx 3 bucks (was, 7 years ago). The job is definitely not a $110 task though.
It shouldn't be too much trouble to remove the sensor - a 10mm wrench/ socket. Then take the sensor to an auto parts store and try the different o-rings they have till you think it's snug enough. Or just replace the o-ring with the suitable part from Nissan.

Edit: if you don't mind, share the dealer name, or just the location. We are going to add them to our naughty list :nono:

Haha, thanks guys. This dealership actually comes highly recommended and is one of the most used shops in the country. It's Sewell Infiniti in Dallas.

Yeah, I believe I've seen their parts (and maybe cars too) priced sensibly online. I suppose the cheap parts have to be subsidized by the expensive labor, huh?

To locate the camshaft sensors, I typed in those keywords and specified M35/M45 forum in the search thingamajig. Skipped to this link since it looked promising:
