There is a top bracket that has a long bolt that is used for tightening/losening the belt. On this slide bracket there is a bolt that is tightened to hold it in desired place. loosen this and then loosen the belt. Once this is done the alternator should be able to pivot freely from a bottom pivot point. Then get 2 tools on the bottom bolt, loosen it and pull it out. Dont forget to first disconnect all electrical connections. After you pull the bottom bolt out it comes down to fenagling out the alternator from a cramped space.~Sam

you die.

jp. But you might fry the alternator. Or it just wont work. I do know for a fact that if the ground wire or 12v wire is not on tight it will fry the wire.~Sam

I dont remember waht belt the alt pully is but i think its the furthest inside, just take off the rest of the belts and replace that one. ~Sam

If you hook it up with the battery hooked up, you can fry the voltage regulator inside the alternator (integral part) especially if a spark arcs the gap between the plug and it's socket.

And it is obvious that the alternator belt is the one the alternator is connected to ...sheesh...

The AC belt is the one furthest from the front, the Alt belt is in the middle and the power steering and waterpump is closest to the front
