Bro not trying to be rude or nothing but I really don't care.I know the two differences but seriously I'm looking for help on my car not my English. If i wanted that I'd get a tutor.Thank you for understanding.qship96 wrote:Consider the difference in meaning between the two following sentences, and you will see how important it is to have a good grasp of the English language.
" Tommy went to help his uncle Jack off the horse."
VS.
"Tommy went to help his uncle jack off the horse"
One tiny difference creates an entirely different meaning, eh?
Okay, well at least I'm doing something with my self instead of trying to insult an 18yr old with lame a** insults.Good luck with your car I can see it breaking down in your future.maxnix wrote:Good luck getting an above minimum wage job that requires sub 3rd grade reading comprehension skills and no writing skills!
And stay away from any horses, especially if your uncle Jack is around.
You've got it backwards. The left side is always the driver's left side while sitting in the driver's seat. I believe Nissan uses "left" and "right" instead of "passenger" and "driver" in it's naming scheme, is that left and right are always the same, but passenger and driver reverse on RHD vs. LHD cars.unknown007 wrote:I hope I got all the plugs in the right place.Correct me if I'm wrong the L labeled plug from the KS harness goes on the passenger and the R on driver right?
Like this?I somewhat don't understand what you meant.Q451990 wrote:

Oh I see. Well I posted a picture up before I read what you said just now so is that right? If I have them backwards I should swap them before I put the other half of runners on.Raxephon wrote:L & R is from the point of view of sitting in the vehicle.
Front of car
Rear of car
Left side of car(driver side)
Right side of car(passenger side)
Backwards. When you're sitting in the car facing forward - your left and right are the same as anything referenced in the FSM.unknown007 wrote:

This is how I hooked it up:

Yup got that down. Looked at my headlight covers and made more sense to what you and Raxephon said.Q451990 wrote:

One issue is that most techs haven't worked on these cars for years.I called once before I started to get a quote and he said he hasn't done one of those jobs in atleast 10 years or so. Quote was 1k labor alone and he said it may come out cheaper me doing it alone. So i went for it but hey read the service manual the PDF one.I read the service manual once just because I was bored. It's very interesting.Just hope you don't forget things quick like I do.alexander wrote:
To unknown007,
Any time you want to work on my 96Q let me know. You now know more than Infiniti techs in Marin, Pleasanton and Santa Clara. We in the bay area have to deal with lots of languages, good and bad, and that's why Northern California will come out of this recession faster than anyone .Alexander
I know I hooked it up now. Now soon I'll post runs.Q451990 wrote:Congratulations!
Be sure to connect that bottom throttle cable on the right side... you can see the gap at about 13 seconds into your video. Glad to see it's done though!

Let's see what goes inside the Plenum?Brake dust or carb?I think carb. I used carb cleaner like four or seven cans I think it was four only.Yeah I am missing the trottle body cable bracket that mounts above the EGR.If I can get one for free that be the ish.elwesso wrote:Get the car idling right and we'll see how thing sound from there...
The plenum looks really clean inside, did you just use brake clean?
