Redtop ECU...how to read trouble codes

hey allwhen i turn the screw on the ecu it just spins and spins, and spins some more, either way, it doesnt click or anything, how the hell am i supposed to check the trouble codes?

i believe u can do it with the engine running or just the key "ON". But anyhow just turn the screw fully clockwise..one full rotation and stop and wait 2 seconds (theres no click just realize the one full turn) then back fully counter clockwise one full rotation and you'll get a series of flashes. There are 2 sets of flashes. The first is long slow intervals and the second is short fast ones...if you get two short intervals and 4 fast ones then the code is a 24

are you sure you turned it one full time and nothing past one full rotation. it has to be one full exact rotation clockwise then wait 2 seconds..did u wait two seconds and then back counterclockwise one full exact rotation. did you do it with the key on or the engine running.

Sounds like somebody broke the screw.

nothing happens, i get 1 full turn clockwise then 1 full turn counterclockwise, and it doesnt do anything (with key on and/or engine running)

ya screw must be broken..not grabbing or something...whats wrong with your sr?
