Unfortunately it was not that low.
NovaJoe, did you want the grill covers and or the factory wiring as well ?
I have speaker covers in blue and gray.

nah I don't need the wiring or the grill covers. I've got some 6x9s mounted back there now with some pretty shady home-made wooden mounts. I'm hoping I can make it look cleaner if I modify some factory mounts.

I'm in the process of going through a big audio deal with this truck right now. The rockford fosgate setup in my evo just kills the speaker setup in my truck and by the time I'm done I should have 2 tweeters, 4 6x6s(2 in door and 2 mounted under fold down rear seats), and the 2 6x9s to make it sound a lot better.

I'm still learning a lot about the audio side of things though. I need to get rid of the engine noise I currently have and I may also end up wiring in an aftermarket amplifier. I'm not sure if the standard setup can handle the extra load of the speakers. If I'm not mistaken stock its set to run 4 6x6 speakers. We'll just have to wait and see if it can handle me throwing in a set of 6x9s and some tweeters as well.

Careful with just adding speakers willy-nilly. You need to be mindful of your impedance and what you amp can handle.

I removed the door panels to install my panels and speakers and to clean.
I decided to remove the water sheilds (for now) and the their adhesive.
Image
Image
Image
I also removed the door surround seal to clean.
Image
Here's the drivers door switch showing how dirty the truck is.
Image
I wrapped some sections of the harness that was in need.
Image
I have a 99 Maxima seat belt adjuster on the drivers side.
Image
And the Contour unit I was using on my 2wd on the passenger side.
I have to decide what works best.

I installed my Pioneer stereo yesterday.
I had ordered 94-95 radio adapters, 94-95 speaker adapters and 94-95 radio install kits.
Non of these worked on my 94.
I have the same connectors as on my 1990.
Maybe 95 started a new connector ?
Also, the radio install kit wasn't needed as my Pioneer bolted in place same as the factory unit.
I'm using the factory speaker wiring and made my own speaker adapters (sorry no photo... yet).
I added 2) screw and brackets and 2) adhesive retainers in place of the factorys gray duct tape wire routers.
Image
This is the factory harness routing.
Image
The rear speakers on my truck were factory amplified.
So I bypassed it with another section of rear speaker harness with the appropriate connector.

I'm thinking about cutting a sunroof into my truck, but I don't wanna do it if I have to add a bunch of wiring as well. Good to hear that a manual sunroof should be pretty easy to find.
I sent you a PM about a week ago.
Send me your address and I can get these to you soon.
Thanks.
Kevin.

If you're like me, you don't like the grill mount retainers.
So I updated to a plastic retainer and a Nissan screw.
Image
And I added stainless bolts to high rust prone areas.
Headlamp rings, fuel fill and fog mounts.

You really are a Hardbody enthusiast. Did you ever get the money I sent you? I never heard back and was wondering if what I sent was enough.

Where'd you score the new looking fogs?

Some floor holes were taped closed.
I opted for a rubber bumper instead.

Damaged the truck today while 4x4ing.
Every Monday I volunteer at the AACA Museum.
I went to load a cut tree but couldn't access it thru the normal pathway.
The pathway was washed out about 3 weeks ago.
It's out back near the retention pond, no roads.
So I decided to cut a path bottom to top with the Grasshopper.
I had no problem going down hill, used 4x4 low.
However, I couldn't acsend the hill nose first.
Tail first worked fine... except when I passed through the two close trees.
I couldn't swing thru them to avoid the next tree that was center in reference to them.
So I had to do a 6 point turn.
Anyways, here's the damage and the trail I blazed.

Insurance adjuster totaled the truck today.
Said it was 108% or 8% over the estimated value.
I do have the option to purchase back.
Oh boy.

Thanks guys.
Insurance is paying me 2x what I have invested in it.
I'm contemplating getting an F150 or F250 4x4.
Then I can do towing.
Truck needs frame rust repaired and front suspension rebuilt for inspection.
Inspection runs out end of Oct.
If I don't fix it, I wont have a 4x4 for winter.
Not sure what I want to do.
I have a lot invested in Nissan trucks and have, what I feel is the ultimate Nissan 4x4.
I may buy a welder and a plasma cutter and do it myself.

I personally like the banged up look it has now. Throw a set of intimidating looking meats and wheels on it and it'll scare people.

This. Always wanted to find a 4x4 2 door pathy and do the "zombie assault" look. Bull bar, light bar/rack on roof and some beefy tires. Let the body be what it may and spray the whole thing primer gray.

Sorry guys, but it looks like I'm getting a F150 or F250.
Need something for towing purposes.
I may buy the truck back from insurance.
Then sell complete or part out.

Put the 94 SE up for sale today and had a call 2 minutes after I posted on CL.
If I get what I want $ wise it will go.
If not, I'll keep it and restore later (who knows when).
Here's what I'm looking at to replace it.
Need a 4x4 and a truck for towing.
A 1999 Ford F150 super cab with 44x4 and 5.4 V8, 85k miles, great shape and original owner.
A fellow AACA volunteer is selling it early next year.
So I'll have to wait until Jan-Feb-Mar 2012.

What can I say... the truck sold today.
And the new owner is shipping out of country.
I'll be selling all my Hardbody / Pathfinder stock.
I'll post a list later.

Getting a loan with no credit history is almost impossible.
I have to thank my Father for without his help this is not possible.
I sold all my trucks except the Ranger and have decided to get a full size truck for towing.
I also wanted 4WD.
So here it is: A 2005 F150 Crew Cab, King Ranch.
This truck is more than I ever thought I'd have.

You did such a nice job on the Nissan. It would have killed me to sell it after that tear-down. Just curious, how much did those rust repairs cost you? I've got substantially more rust and a good hit of rot so I'm trying to get a round-about of what to expect. I might grab some pictures today and post them on here to see if anyone else can input.
