I bought mine from Harbor Freight. I've had a 6.0L iron block v8 on it for 6 months now and had no problem.

So.. your SR should be a piece of cake.

Just make sure you get some high quality tempered steel bolts to secure it on there.

alright thanks. i just didnt want my block to fall off and take a dive to the concrete. ive used some of their tools and some lived up to the cheap name others i still use constantly.

The only weak point of the Harbor Freight stand is the attaching hardware. IIRC its only grade 5.

Ive had a 2.5L iron M50 BMW inline 6 hanging on mine since August. Im rocking grade 8 hardware though.

Pick up a bunch of grade 8 washers as well so that you can space everything properly.
