I was looking at an infiniti parts website and was looking at rear sways bars for a q60 just for the heck of it.
What I discovered is that 2017+ q60 shares the same rear sway bar as the m37.
If this is true which it appears to be, why can't we just install a q60 performance adjustable sway bar on our m37's?

Maybe I wrong on this......

If the part numbers are a 1:1 match, might be worth a shot...

I agree that if the part numbers match, then go for it. Make sure you're comparing apples to apples though. Sport model parts for sport model vehicle.

Here is a listing for OEM Q60 rear sway, under the list of compatible vehicles it lists the Q70, M56 and M37.

Its a tough call to just bite the bullet and buy an aftermarket sway though based on this......

Well, that particular bar you posted matches the sport model Y51s. If you had a sport model M37, then all you need is to purchase a compatible bar and go for it*.

It should be noted that you can "sportify" the sway stabilizer system of a non-sport model - just buy the sport model sway bar along with the sway bar bushings the manufacturer sells for that particular bar. They will fit within the same brackets.
For the front, the links are different as well.

Maybe this excerpt from the link I posted earlier will help you figure it out faster?
There are 2 options for the rear stabilizer bars
1. 56230-1MA0A. Sport - both V8 & V6
2. 56230-1MA0B. Non-sport - both V8 & V6, which includes AWD

There are 5 options for the front
1. 54610-1MT1A. Sport V8
2. 54610-1MA1A. Non-sport V8
3. 54610-1MT0A. Sport V6
4. 54610-1MA0A. Non-sport V6
5. 54610-1MA0B. AWD for both V8 & V6
For the front, there are 3 diameters - Sport, Non-sport & AWD.

The hybrid with its near perfect F/R weight distribution shares the non-sport rear bar 56230-1MA0B, but the sport model front parts - 54610-1MT0A.

Thanks

Thats what I thought about the rear bars, the Hotchkis adjustable Q60 bar technically should work because it should bolt right up to the existing mounts using their supplied bushings.

Besides bar diameters being different, all other dimensions and mounting points should be the same.

I will report back on this once I have made the purchase.

This could be a great viable option for M37/M56 owners for an adjustable rear sway.

Why doesn't anyone use the search function. I've already posted this exact post.

The first link I posted in this thread led directly to a post by Yoda discussing the Hotchkis bar. I didn't get any acknowledgement on that, but it's all good.
I assumed maybe OP didn't see the link, or maybe he/she saw it but was looking for information in a different format.

Regarding searching for oneself, it might be that OP was searching using different terms. Or perhaps the search function was tripping out when OP searched - that has happened to me as well.

Whatever the reason, I have learned to not take such matters too personal. If I have an answer, I post it. If not, I keep to myself and make sure I don't raise my BP over things outside my circle of influence.

I look forward to any one of these threads coming to some conclusion where somebody installs something and reports on their success; part numbers and all.

That way, people can easily find this info even by searching on google. I usually add a descripter in the title as a guide on solutions found.
For the following link, all I typed in the google search bar is nicoclub and m37 and sway and bar. Click it and see what results Big Data has curated for you - https://www.google.com/search?q=nicoclub+m37+sway+bar

I'm waiting for it to be added to amazon prime. I don't feel like paying $100 or more for shipping. I rather let amazon flip that bill.
