Any interest in getting a sway bar kit made for the M37/M56 crew? I'm reaching out to a number of companies to gauge their interest but wanted to see who around here may be interested.

Is body roll that bad in your cars that you need one?

I came across these, and have sent an inquiry to the company to see if Tanabe Japan has them in stock.

I don't think body roll is bad at all, but I'm still interested in making it better.

Haven't been behind the wheel of the new m's yet so was curious. My old 35x is still solid pushing it to the point that it beeps and gas cuts off before i get body roll that bad.

I'm considering purchasing the sway bars from the links above. I'm trying to figure out if the Nissan Fuga from 2011 has the same sway bars as the american Infiniti M56. Anyone have a link to a nissan dealership in Japan that sells Fuga parts?

Well my sway bar kit arrived from Japan...installing them this week. If all is successful then hopefully Tanabe will start stocking the parts in the US for our group. Shipping was a little rough to get it to Texas!

The shop that is installing it, strangely enough, said they had installed a sway bar kit to an M56 already so I'm curious if the parts came from the same place for that guy.

Nice. You mind sharing how much/shipping cost? Exactly how did you order them. Make sure to get some pics from the install.

I paid around 600 all said and done to get it shipped over.

I'm not doing the install but I'll ask the guy to snap a few pics in the process. My hope is that Tanabe USA will start carrying the part for the rest of the group and we can avoid high shipping costs from Japan.

The rear steering system isn't linked to the sway bars, should be the exact same sway bar for all 37s and 56s.

Nice. Have you noticed much difference driving? From the pics the new sway bars don't look much thicker if at all.

That car is in Japan and not owned by me. It may not look different but if you check out the specs on the link there is a size difference.

Typically they want to stay the same thickness... but instead of a honeycomb, or hollow, inside, they go solid... So they probably are the same thickness.

Also, on your X model, your bars are beefy as all hell... Wouldnt even bother with solid bars... might end up ripping them up, or twisting.

I couldn't get the link to take me straight to the parts but I was able to figure it out...haven't decided if I'll bother with the sway bars yet.

I think member rjoe has already purchased these tanabe bars... maybe possibly link / merge these two threads?

I was unable to get the front sway bar to work properly, I am unsure if this means I was sent the wrong bar or if the bars used on the Fuga are actually different (for some reason).

The rear bar worked fine, the rear steer seems to be more precise/predictable after the installation but I can't tell if body roll has decreased in any measurable amount.

@rjoe, that's odd that the front didn't work. Did you happen to take any side by side pictures of the OEM sway bar vs the new one? What was the fitment issue?

I still have the front bar, but haven't tried to put it on. The rear has been on for about a year without any issues. I need to get in and flush the brake fluid and I might tackle the front one more time. The shop just said that it didn't fit, but didn't give me any information about it. I believe the shop uses a drive on lift, which wouldn't unload the front bar but alas I can't confirm it works.
