Well, people in this thread were making comments about stereos in there 240s right? Well, im into car audio, so i figured Id drop a few pointers to anyone who wanted to do there system the right way and not ghetto it out. So, just tryin to help out.

And if you read my reply, I actually mentioned JL not JBL. Its ok if no one respects JBL, i dont really recommend their stuff anyways. Unless your looking for a cheap sub amp, theve got a 1200 watt amp that can be had on the net for like 300 bucks. Plus their new line of GTi subs arent anything to frown at. But still not recommending them, just showing that every company makes high end and low end stuff.

Was there a point to this post? If anyone learned anything from it, yeah. But who cares anyways.

their sub amps are far from low end. Ive never met anyone who has used it ,and from the way you talk i doubt you have, talk bad about anyone of them. The 1200.1 is 1200 watts of clean power, along with the 600 watter. Any of the other stuff they make i dont recommend. and yes jbl speakers are something to frown at.

Dude are you a total a$$ or can you not read? Did I say they were low end? No, I said I didnt recommend them. And I said their 1200 watt amp was cheap, 300 bucks is cheap. I didnt say they were poor quaity. And just ta let you know, I have heard several JBL amps. They are good for the money, but thats about it. And obviously you havent seen then new JBL GTi subs, i wouldnt frown at these bastards:

Rest of their subs a pretty much junk, to me at least, but anything can sound good if its in a good install.

But you havent met anyone who used the amp? So, how do you know so much about the amp?

First off i never said in that post one time that you called them low end. I stated that they where not low end. not only do i own a jbl 1200.1 but many of my friends/people i know have a jbl amp as well. I dont particularly like the jbl gti, ecspecially for 500 dollars. for that kinda cash i could get 2 brahmas(hook up alert), so thx but no thx. Its a huge step up from the crap they where churning out before it but i prefer stuff like re, ra dd, jug, s3, and my personal favorite adire. All this being said yes anything can sound decent with a good install but i still dont particularly like the sound of the sub, kinda like i just dont like jl. suggestion, Go through the post a little better before you call me an azz.

Well, i was under the impression that u were saying I was calling the JBL amps low end. So, my bad for the flame. But yeah, I have actually heard the JBL amps, and they are awesome amps for the money, you cant get a cleaner 1200+ watt amp for around 300$. Price on the GTi is kinda steep, but they have excellent sound quality, the ohm configuration on them sucks too though. And im sure you know about the new JBL amp thats coming out, its co- made by Crown. Its gonna be a huge a$$ 6000 watt amp, and thats rms power. Info is on JBLs web site. So yeah, the amps rock, everything else pretty much sucks.

I have a 89 Hatch. So far I ahve the $179.99 Sony Xplod h/u, Pep Boys 4x6's in the front doors and 2 Jensen 6x9's mounted behind the armrest for the rear seats. Then eating my trunk space is a bandpass box with 2 10's in it.

just wanted to add that kenwood makes sh**y speakers. Went through a pair of 6 1/2s in less than a year. And thats running a Harmon Kardon 100 x 2. Upgraded to a set of Infinity Reference Components and they kick ***. By the way would like to meet both your moms and grandmas, sisters first though.
