Really Weird Sr problem

i have a redtop 180sx and every time i under 3000 rpm and give it have trottle the engine sputters or surges and shakes the car untill it hits 3. If you ease into it up to 3 it wont do it same if u barry the pedal only half and 3/4 of the ways down. Its really puzzleing. As soon as it hit 3 it pulls so nice and clean all the way to redline any help will be great.

Check every ground wire. That happened to me awhile back. Turn out to be a big boost leak/cut ecu ground. Hope that helps you

Check your vacuum lines, check for boost leaks, check you ground straps.
