Cool so you'll be president and I'll be the mascot

You have to admit your post was hilarious!

Actually, since I have kids, I'd start to write and within minutes one would come in asking for something. I'd quickly save and then come back within seconds, start up again and then only have to quit one more time to do something else. This is why there were three corrections and not b/c I had OCD or something.

Anyway-- it's settled, I'll be Hugo Chavez the charter prez and you can be co-prez (pick you poison here________)-- no need for Mascots here.... too many of them floating around the forum sometimes.

Thanks for your humorous reply-- made my morning!

I hate to put a damper on this troubling (even if reads as humor) section of the thread, but as someone with a private practice who will often see children and adults who are abuse survivors, I hate to tell you--- THE LIFETIME REMAINS ARE DEVASTATING, MARK OR NO MARK! The brain often rewires, changing in both function and structure- it "re-sculpts" in response to trauma and often results in increased aggression, poor emotional control, personality disorders, and memory and attention impairment.

No apology is offered for bringing some much needed sensitivity to this thread right now. Seems our G's may over-ride our compassion a bit... so, can we be a bit more sensitive here. No- I'm not the sensitivity and compassion police.

Wow....I'm reading through these threads and posts and come to this reply. Are you Dr Spock or something?

This is a car forum and I'm sure most of us would visit a psychology forum if we wanted to discuss the impact of abuse whether it be real or imagined.

Grasshopper(s), never question the wisdom of a man who's at the prime of his senility. This ain't a psych lesson, it's a life lesson.

Drop it. It was a psych lesson, it sounded exactly like my Psych 111 course from college.

Can we talk about cars now and relevant topics?

You don't have to read all the BMW bashing posts, I personally don't read most of them, just that this one caught my attention with C&D and my input on decibels.
To quote you (Smockers83): If you don't like it don't read it (same as changing the station/channel).

OK-- I'm done on this one. No harm done and thanks for discussion.
