I find it very true about the 240sx.org link. That's how I found NICO (I was trying to learn about 240s). And yes, this is a very cliq-ey site, but that's because all the groups have only a few visitors besides the 240 group, we just need to get more Sentra, Altima, Maxima, Infinti (sorry to group you all), etc... people, not sure how though, maybe steal some from that dead forum, G20.net, etc?

The infiniti section has a great base of guys that post there regularly (myself)..... Doesnt compare to the 240 and Z car guys, but its good enough for me!!! I dont like having to sift through 50 pages of threads to get answers!

I'd say the Infiniti forum is the best one here...perhaps a few of the motor forums can compare

I've actively tried to stray out of the Infiniti Group to feel more a part of the neighborhood :)

I have to agree with the comments about the Infiniti forum - it is easier to read as a result!

I was opposed to (and still remain opposed to) separating the "G35 Coupes and Sedans" forum out. My reasoning was that I am very interested in all Infiniti models in general, and putting the G35 into a separate forum (even though I do not own one) meant I was not reading it as often. It is not as busy either, given the larger numbers of G35's that have been sold, so that argument is no longer valid, IMHO!

So, the change I would suggest to the outline is to remove the sub-forums for the G35 and the Infiniti SUV. Just have one "Infiniti General" forum. :)

P.S. I was the person who originally posted the tagline for Infiniti General: "To discuss all things Infiniti"! and Nancy (Monarch) was kind enough to use it! :)

I voted no only because it took me awhile already to get use to the last change this forum went through...

I'm real slow when you guys move stuff around and I get lost easily lol

Just don't wanna have to learn everything again..

Though I wish things hadn't changed in the first place from when I first joined.

well the new version should make it a whole lot easier to navigate. So it shouldn't take long to adjust:)

um...

What the heck are guys doing with NICO :D, nah really, just like to know whats goin on with teh site. Im tired of getting half assed responses (we have big plans, wait!) and little visible effort (regardless of what is actually happening)

I know NICO uses a lot of bandwidth so we need a big company host...but why doesn't NICO hire an actual Nissan enthusiast who wants to be a part of the community and has some great ideas as far as web design (and can implement them well)?

There is progress going on.

Currently our resources are focused on fixing the 240sx portal.

I notice we have a Classified place to post vehicles up for sale, but also I notice alot of that is in the buy/sell/trade as well. Classified has nothing in it. Should we start posting our vehicles for sale in it or do that in b/s/t area?? Datsun forums maybe dead but not completely. Some on here have them but not everyone nowadays has/drives a Datsun. I know a couple others who have Datsuns, and I will say I'm might be getting me a 620 as well. I think the Datsun area is fine way it is.

I came up with an idea but don't know what you guys would think about it. I notice on some other boards that they have a Newbie area. It shows them how to post, what not to post, etc. Its a forum that basically allows them to do their first posting there and it was also moderated. Basically if they have questions and don't know where to post they post it in there, like when we have a newbie they go there first and read some ground rules of the site and whats not allowed and is allowed. I'm not sure if I'm making this clear but maybe some of you can understand where I'm going with that.

Just my .02 cents in. :)
