RDX or EX35

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I am about to purchase my first car, and can't decide between RDX and EX35. I just don't want to purchase something that I will regret in near future. Can anyone give me some advices. I am sure your inputs will be beneficial for me as well as others who are planning to get one.

Thank you in advance...^^

We chose the EX35 over the RDX for two reasons:

1) the RDX is the first turbo for Honda/Acura.2) the lines on the EX35 are nicer.

We didn't want to deal with turbo problem and we didn't like how the front end of the RDX looks to accomodate the intercooler and intake. The grill on the EX35 looks cleaner to us.

I took a RDX out for a test drive. A co-worker suggested that I take it out on the freeway. I'm indebted to my friend. The road noise while on the freeway was the deal-breaker for me. It was so loud that my partner in the back seat couldn't hear the conversation going on in the front seats.

I left the dealer and pulled into the Infiniti dealer to "just look..." Several hours later, my partner drove my X3 home and I drove my EX35 home.
